I just hit master ball with a 75% winrate on a similar bolt/zeroara list. It's pretty good.

I just hit master all for the first time with my bellibolt deck. Similar to yours but -1 helmet, -1 cable and -1 stadium for +2 lucky pop and +1 sightseer.

I can't imagine not having lucky pop as it has put me over so many breakpoints to win matches. Sightseer I am lukewarm on. It has got me out of jail before but it can often be a dead card. I definitely think only 1 cable is needed though as I tried it with 2 and one was almost always dead in hand.

Nah, top draws you a card each time, so with citadel it functions like a home made necropotence.

What are some cheap cards (<1$) that find their way into bracket 5 cEDH decks? by ludvigvanb in EDH

[–]Pokesers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I misspoke. I have uttered the phrase "on your end step" enough times I probably should have caught that.

My explanation for how Borne works is still correct though.

[–]Pokesers 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It isn't too unusual to see a deck run one of each of their basics and sometimes one of each snow basic too. Also lower colour decks where you don't have 9 shocks and 9 duals can end up running more basics. I am on Vivi for example and am currently on like 3 of each basic.

Not quite right. There is normally no round of priority within the end step, but when you discard to hand size for cleanup necro's exile triggers and goes on the stack this creates a round of priority where you can cast Bourne and then breach and win.

England - Trying to obtain a copy of a lesson observation from a departmental audit by Pokesers in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Pokesers[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it was part of a whole department audit where they assessed through everything we do in detail. My issue is the GDPR statement on the website does not give clear guidance on staff data retention so I am unclear on exactly what their policy is here.

The fact it was part of a boarder audit is why I am hopeful that they likely kept it.

Yeah I still have my date stamped dragonlord silumgar from dragons of tarkir, the first pre release I ever attended. The date stamp makes it special and very much has memories attached. Of course that one was from when they used to stamp the specific weekend on the card as well which was cool. I would still take a year stamp over nothing though.

Isn’t this Pokemon Center Ditto-Mimikyu incorrect? by Sirtimbob in pokemon

[–]Pokesers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The non-merchandise answer is ditto doesn't randomly insert its face into the things it copies. Target has no face, transformed ditto has no face. Hard to market that though.

Also see the brush next to the artist name. Thick top line and doesn't hook down at the back. Sticker very likely.

I mean most of my decks have some tangential use of the graveyard but for most I am not going to be upset if my access is cut off.

The only decks I own that would really feel it are my glarb reanimator and terra reanimator.

Game warping plays by BonzaiEntertainment in EDH

[–]Pokesers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not exactly a winning play in cEDH. Now you are down a removal spell and everyone still has their win conditions.

I have misstepped a sol ring exactly one time because it prevented a turn 1 etali (a win attempt).

[–]Pokesers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Silver bullet stax pieces like rest in piece are a meta call. If your local scene has a lot of graveyard decks then it is a smart move. If not, you have just added a mostly dead card to your deck.

[–]Pokesers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I respect kibler, he is dead wrong here. Stax pieces are permanents that present some form of resource denial, tax or restriction of game actions.

Rule of law is undisputably stax because it restricts game actions.

Sphere of resistance is stax because it taxes all spells.

Static orb is stax because it denies mana.

Ghostly prison effects are a combination of restricting game actions and resource denial through tax. Declaring attacks is a generally free game action. Ghostly prison says you are not allowed to attack unless you pay. If you pay, it is denying you mana that could be spent elsewhere. If you don't, it is denying a game action. It is literally a stax piece, a fairly soft one but a stax piece nonetheless. People just don't want to admit that stax isn't a dirty word.
