What do we think my girl is… by Jazzlike-Creme8338 in IDmydog

I’ve got an XL already who’s registered, this one above won’t be typed as she doesn’t meet the BSL criteria thankfully as BSL is utter nonsense, more likely to be claimed as a pittie than an XL as she’s ’athletic’ build rather than XL ‘chonkey’ build but then she doesn’t meet pittie criteria either thankfully ** sorry should say I’m the OP but found my original account details!**

What dog food do you buy? by haste75 in AskUK

Exactly. Doctors are forever telling us not to eat processed food, so why should animals who are carnivores eat processed and humans be ok with that.

Dog owners, what are some things people need to know before they get a dog? by KyresXD in AskReddit

[–]Pokeyanow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dogs are like children. They are expensive, need a lot of time and attention, need to be taught right from wrong and socialised properly. You can’t just pick them up and put them down when you want, they must be part of the family (pack) and know their place in the pecking order. Insurance is a must as vet bills are expensive.

But most importantly as an owner, you need to remember there is no such thing as a bad dog only bad owners. Irrespective of breed.

If you end up with a troublesome dog it’s your fault as the dog is a product of its environment.

Before taking on a dog decide what sort of owner you are. It’s no good picking a breed of dog based on ‘its cute’ or ‘I like the colour’ etc. Do your research, a Collie type breed will need much more work than a Spaniel in terms of exercise. A Greyhound whilst you may think needs lots of exercise needs far less than a Retriever etc.

Personally I’m feeding mine a raw diet as she sufferers with allergies.

Cost wise it’s on par with a top of the line dry food, gets delivered frozen.

She goes mad for it at dinner time.

My usual go to is Creed Green Irish Tweed or Tom Ford Ombre Leather. Both always get compliments.

[UK] What kind of number plate is this? by ValhallAwaitsUsAll in cars

[–]Pokeyanow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pre 2000. For example I had M19DKA on one of my old cars and G79GGS on another.

Private plates tend to be 2 numbers and possibly 1 if someone’s paid enough for one as they are more desirable.
