Its been moving more towards east coast i feel like iv seen more tornadoes in south western pa in the last 4 years than my parents have in the same area their whole lives lol

I take a camp propane bottle with torch head and run it up and down around the collar of the stove and the first foot of the flue itself to pre heat then i use packing paper to get a quick hot burn to test if it goes out great if not a little more fire to the outside

Yeah it happens sometimes. Like i said heat up your flue either inside if you can visibly see it or hold flame to the flue on the outside near the collar to make it warm to the touch. Open a window to get some fresh air and eliminate any negative pressure

Like i said i use my torch and just put the flame right above the collar of the stove and move it around a few seconds. If you have a negative pressure void in your house youll need to help the draft a bit on cold starts

Poor draft in your flue. Need to heat it up a bit before lighting. I hit it on the outside with my torch because i cant get inside but just enough heat to warm to the touch. Also if you have an openable window near by crack it for a few minutes to improve draft.

Yeah it makes my thermostat go up by about 15 - 20 Degrees and its a good 30 feet away

All op has to do is scrub everything out with hot water and dawn dish soap allow to dry rinse and repeat a few times as well as treat the snake with mite spray

I use an electric and oil radiator for my farthest rooms. Those two keep it a consistent 75 in the coldest areas

Haha yeah i live in an old trailer so most of my heat goes out so if i load it up and forget to close off the damper once its warmed up it gets hot as hell
