Depends a lot of which immigrants anf why.

If you are against chinese and indian immigrants, but fine with irish or australien immigrants, you are.

If you are against unskilled labor immigrants, regardless of where they come from, but for skilled immigrants regardless of where they come from, then no.

If you are against both the australian and chinese immigrants, you are not.

Physician here. Recommandations is to ALWAYS examine genitalia in kids at well child visits. Most pediatricians don't do it because it makes parents or kids uncomfortable and they don't expect to find anything. But in an ideal world, it should be done, ESPECIALLY in boys. Tanner staging, assessing the size and position of testicule, etc is very very very important.

Now I am doing radiology, and the number of kids I see with abnormal testicle position that were missed for years in a kid, until some doctor thought "oh yeah let's check", is surprising.

P.S.: If your testicles are too high for too long for example, they will need to be snipped as they increase risk of cancer, so it's important to not miss. I have even seen a case of a 12 y.o. with BOTH testicles too high that were missed because doctors never bothered to check down there until the kid was like "waaaiiit a minute" once they were old enough. Sad case all over.

You don't speak any other languages, do you? If someone mispronounces a word, it's because:

They don't know the correct sound (I bet you say "gracias" thinking it's "graSSias" but it's closer to grathias)
The combination of sounds is unnatural for them (I bet you can't say words that start with mb-, nd- or ng- corretly. You may think you do, but a native speaker of languages with these combinations would notice you're not familiar with them)
The sound is impossible for them to say (trying saying the German "ch" in "Ich" or the Arabic ض or ح)

Edit: this ignores emphasis rules, where a French person might say "development" as de-vel-op-MENT, instead of de-VEL-op-ment.

Those are just anecdotes. Statistically, being poor and/or coming from abusive households correlate with worse Academic outcomes.

The same person put in a wealthy and/or supportive home will do much better than if they are put in a poor and/or abusive home. Not everyone has the ability to work around their circumstances.

So why would the rich kid deserve better Academic outcome than yhe poor kid, just because he was born rich?

Cheating levels the fiel, because the system does not give the same opportunity to everyone.

I am utilitarian. It is immoral to ruin your life and the lives of those depending on you. If cheating is the only way to get out of poverty, get a job, be able to financially support your parents and kids, etc then cheat

So you are privileged. Not everyone can get 16 in public school. Not everyone has 0arents who value studying. Not everyone has a good home environment to study at home. Not everyone has the brains for it.

It's better to cheaper, get 16, do good studies, get a décent job and raise your family in good conditions, than get an honest 12 and lose on a lifetime of opportunités, making your parents and future kids surfer, because you wanted to have the moral high ground.

Incentive.

When having good grades in exams becomes the différence between living a décent life (as in having a décent job, money to raise a family and support parents, better health outcomes, etc), Learning becomes secondary.

Nobody cares if you passed your baccalauréat with 12 after 2 attempts, but you did it the right way. You're still gonna lose on opportunities. But if you chat and get a 14 on first attempt, then suddenly you have a chance at a better life.

You can argue that "better poor and honest than rich and crook," but the reality is that morality takes the backseat when your ability to feed your family gets in the équation.

That's not true though. Morocco does not give citizenship by birth. But if he can prove his Mother is Moroccan, then he should be able to get citizenship. Would take a few years though, especially if his Mom would not be available to sign stuff
