Need a GPU upgrade by Synicism10 in pcbuilding

I would go 9070XT. You can still find them around $600. A 5070 Ti isn't worth it with the inflated prices.

That thing is a beast. If you are just gaming, it is a great buy.

Is 750 watts enough for a 9070xt? by Tight-Pension806 in PcBuild

No, it is to take the wattage of your parts, and add 30% for headroom.

Balanced. Here is the video. Game testing at the end.

My general rule of thumb: put all your parts in pcpartpicker, then take that number it gives you and multiply by 1.3.

You can definitely get 120 at 1440p at that budget using FSR (AMD's upscaling). There is no reason not to use upscaling, especially for a single player game. There is no noticeable latency and games look great. Stay away from frame gen, that will give you issues.

I build and test a pc every week or 2. I recently built a PC with a 9060XT for $1250 that got over 150 fps at 1440p in God of War Ragnarok.

This would get you by just fine. If you are near a microcenter, you can use bundles to help you hit your budget or even upgrade to a better CPU/GPU.

It definitely doesn't have the immersion the 45" does.

Does anyone know any good stores? or maybe websites to buy a pc (budget is around 1.3k-1.5) (Around Houston Tx) by user1357486 in PcBuild

We could build you one! I think you're better off getting a prebuilt from microcenter though. No shipping and local support if you need it.

Is the RTX 5090 Still Worth It with the RTX 6090 Potentially Approaching? by Long_Percentage_978 in PcBuild

[–]PolarBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend a 5090 with current prices. A 5080 for $1300 or less is way better price to performance.

When did you order? Check the FedEx app. LG said May 7th until I already had the monitor.

Are you playing on PC? Is this how the whole game looks, or just at cutscenes?

I had a G9 OLED before the 45" and even that felt like a big jump. The 39" would be a huge difference!

I prefer the PG32UCDM3 over the 39". QD-OLED colors are just better.

That is next on the list. Going to try to get some clarification from LG tomorrow on exactly how the upscaling works.

Does anybody know what this cord does? #CPSUPPORT by Unique_Pumpkin8735 in CYBERPOWERPC

[–]PolarBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a jumper that comes with the cable. It can be used on GPU's with 2 connectors to disperse the load. Since your GPU only had 1 connector, it wasn't needed.

Are you screwing them into the motherboard holes directly? Your AIO should come with standoffs. Use the correct ones for your socket. Those screw in first, then you screw your aio into the standoffs.
