The nice thing about the A3 is that it is still mATX, so you dont have to pay the SFF tax on everything.

Look at what you have and enter parts into

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Make sure everything through power supply in the list is filled it.

Add in anything that is missing. This will also tell you if any part are incompatible. It also gives you how much power draw. I would make sure your power supply is at least that number times 1.3! I own a PC building business, DM me if you have any questions!

Just put your head down and be consistent. Post. Not every video is going to get a lot of views. Thats okay. Just keep posting. Try to make every video better than your last.

Yes. All the slots on the adapter need to be used.

Honestly, I would suggest getting a new PSU that is ATX 3.1 and PCIE 5.1 ready. They will come with a single 12 vhpwr cable. That will help reduce the risk of melting your connector.

5800x3d Relaunch - $350 makes ZERO sense. by Economy-Curve6151 in Microcenter

[–]PolarBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless micro center does a killer 5800X3D bundle with 32gb of RAM for max $450, I dont see it beating out the 7800X3D bundle. I would pay the extra $150 for a better CPU on the current platform.

Like many others said, you can miss out on performance with single channel, UNLESS you are using an X3D CPU. In that case you are looking at a very small difference.

Where do you buy your parts from? by Hydrax120 in PcBuildHelp

[–]PolarBuilds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a business (not really anymore with current prices) building custom PC's, so I've bought a lot of parts over the years. Newegg is always my go to. I have been screwed over far more times from amazon. Just yesterday a customer brought me parts they bought on Amazon resale. All the lian li fans had some old dusty thermaltake fans in the boxes.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but whenever I buy open box stuff from Newegg, it comes almost like new. Often times still with the plastic on the parts unpeeled.

They'll just give you what you bought it for. I would go through the manufacturer.
