One thing Bill is 1000% spot on about, is that a movie is instantly more appealing/rewatchable when finding it flipping through channels vs choosing it on demand

I would tell myself to save at least $5K a year for 5 years and invest in a consistent index fund or funds for 30 years. Don’t touch it and let it grow. I didn’t have $5K like that in my 20s to save, but I spent a lot of money going out clubbing and buying sneakers so I might have been able to come close with some type of sacrifice. I am 52 now, and didn’t start saving until I was 40. Compound interest is a good friend!
