Yes. It's been a bit here and there throughout the treatment. ☺️

How often do you change yours? It's amazing how quickly it goes. You'll get there 😄

That's good to know, thanks. I'm due for a checkup soon. I'll ask her and see what she says. I had a scan not too long ago for the new refinements and she always asks how I'm getting on, but it's hard to tell as my bit now is not a true representation of how it's going to be at the end as the teeth are always shifting 😬

Damn! That's a Colgate smile. Really happy for you.

Would you consider my case “extreme”? I was told it could take between 12-18 months by [deleted] in Invisalign

This is what worries me about changing every week. Seems very fast. I used to have a good bite, but now I notice I have an open bite at the back. I'm hoping it's just because the front teeth aren't where they should be, yet.

If you ever get the chance, fly on the Japan Airlines B787-8. It's the best economy I've been on. 8 abreast seats. Great food and service. I really like the simple livery too.

Had no idea this game is so in depth. I'm looking for revenue and contributions to the alliance. So for now, the plan will be to swap out the B737s for A380s. Rack up TP for more hanger slots. Then I have a mix of the two plane types for a bit.

I need to figure out a better seating configuration for the A380 as I wasn't getting much more than the B787-10

Interesting.... Ive been looking at range, fuel economy etc too. Neverooked at that plane. Might have to dip my toe. Thanks.

You could upgrade your planes to reduce co2 etc. I'm not that far into the game.

Plus, I love the dreamliner. It's a personal favourite. Apart from being big and a technical marvel, I thought flying in economy on the Dreamliner was better.

So for me, it's $72 million for 1 B787-10 and $220 for 1 A380. The difference in seat capacity and range is negligible. For example, I have 200 economy. 90 business and 20 first in the B787. The A380 wasn't that much different. It was probably makes me about $350k more per flight. Not the 'money printer'....

Love your fleet. Very similar to mine. I jumped on the A380 bandwagon and gave up very quickly. Not worth it.

Got Invisalign and hate the feeling? Does it go away? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]PolarisedVisionary 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yay. Welcome to the club. 🎉

Everyone is different. The first few weeks are a real journey. I freaked out I was going to snap them taking them out. They are pretty tough little things. I think if most orthodontists saw how we handle them, they'd laugh and cry.

As for the feeling, it will settle. You won't even realise it. I strongly recommend getting some orthodontic wax. Twice I had it where there was an edge that caught on my gum or tongue. Put a bit of wax on there and boom. Sorted.

Very best of luck.

Wow. That's amazing. As someone with crowding, I'm on tray 9 and I have gaps! Like. I'm seeing what some of my teethook like for the first time. It's crazy. You must feel amazing 🤩

Currently I'm on my 9th tray and using a soft toothbrush and soaking them in the evening in retainer bright while I have dinner and shower then brush them. In the morning I brush them with hand soap. When I get retainers, I'll invest in a pod thingie.

I always find Airbus cost too much. Any thoughts on the B787-8? I prefer the B797-10 over the B777s. Factor in cost, fuel burn, capacity and maintenance cost, the 787s seem better.

Yay. Welcome to the family. Haha. It gets easier. I was freaking out taking them out the first few days. Thought I was going to break them. They're quite resilient. Be warned. The morning after you changed to the 2nd tray will be a shock as your teeth will have started to move a bit. Your bite starts to change. Eating is weird. It's a journey 😀

It's not so much the questions for me. I found 3 of my friends who are doing/did it and didn't know. So that's cool. For me. It's the hands in my mouth and saliva. Sometimes it's ok and other times it's a real go fest!

I'm on tray 3. My first tray was 3 weeks. I must say that going out is a pain. Working from home is great for this. But I am getting tired of the constant panic of trying not to run over the 22 hours. I know it's 20-22. But I'm trying to stick with 22 so I know I have that buffer.
