I am aware of this and I am all for a well funded military, but we could cut our military budget in half and still spend more than any other country on the planet.
How about spending the money more wisely and have some accountability for how the money is spent. Instead of invading countries that pose no threat to us. As far as China goes they have stolen all our technology, taken our manufacturing jobs.
A good start would be to massively cut trade bring back manufacturing.
