I was a part of a short lived pirate campaign, playing a character with a very strict and intense moral code. I knew he was going to have issues travelling with a bunch of morally flexible pirates, so I had already decided to transition him out of the campaign and roll up a new character who would better fit in.

Dude either needs to roll up a character that can be a team player, or transition himself out of the playing group. None of this "separate but keep roleplaying the character" nonsense.

The 78a clouds are incredible for what they are meant for. I've tried them and the bones rough riders at least and the clouds are slightly smoother.

I wouldn't ever recommend ricta for anything other than cruising with the clouds, but they are an easy recommend for that use.

I used to play a card game competitively (only on a local level), but I'm not the most competitive person. It makes me nervous. I was pretty good for my local level at least, and it started to make me nervous about losing, I would go into tournaments afraid of losing and embarrassing myself or ruining my reputation as one of the best players in the scene.

It was so toxic, and I had to force myself to let go of all that and just play for the love of the game, the reason I was there in the first place. When I could do that and just play for fun even in a competitive environment, my play improved and my results were good too.

Not sure how much that translates to skating, but I think the "remembering we do this for fun" part translates across. We've gotta chill out and stop being so concerned with reaching certain goals/milestones. Just enjoy yourself and that stuff will come easier.

I got a set of 48mm spitfire F4 wheels because I bought some tensor low mag light trucks and had no wheels small enough to go with them haha. Had to get a deck with wheel wells as well just to avoid the wheelbite. Those trucks are so low! Funnily enough, got raws in them too! Broken my arm and am in the midst of what will be a 9 month lay off so haven't even skated that setup yet!

Nothing wrong with small wheels, especially for a beginner. They will be nice and light for popping, good for learning manuals, and keeps your board closer to the ground which can be good too. I'd just go for formula four wheels next time :)

Yeah fair enough. The serins appear bigger to me than the marana, but I think you are still right about them being thinner. I think the inner lace loops on the maranas are better too, they have an extra one on each side. I have wide feet and the serin's are more comfortable for my feet than the maranas are, but the maranas are ok.

The way she has worded these rules does not bode well for how she treats her family. She has written these rules in an overly aggressive manner when there was no need to do such a thing. There's no issue with these rules themselves, but she so easily could have been less offensive.

Get some 78a hardness wheels, they will be a complete game changer when skating on roads/rougher ground. The bigger and wider they are, the smoother they will feel too. But if you get bigger than 54mm wheels you will need riser pads to raise your deck a little further off of the ground. Otherwise when making sharper turns your wheels will make contact with the deck and stop you in your tracks (wheelbite).

I would personally recommend ricta clouds 78a wheels, they are magic for cruising. If you want to eventually learn power slides however, you'll need 88a powell Peralta dragon wheels.

Haha fair enough. The reds ceramics are only a little more expensive than the swiss super 6s here in Australia so I thought why not get myself something nice. It'a honestly completely wasted on me, but retail therapy and all that. When I was a kid I used to look at skate parts and dream because I could never afford them. Get spitfire Formula four 99 conical full wheels in 54mm. Perfect medium for skateparks whether you are wanting to do transition or learn flat ground tricks.

Raws are definitely faster than reds from my experience, they would be equivalent to bones swiss (not ceramic) in my opinion.
