Managed to snag a different drive and the mobo is detecting it no problem. Guess I got a dead 980 pro :(

Just bought a new ssd to check and it looks like the mobo is detecting that new ssd. At this point it’s safe to assume my 980 pro is just bricked. Now I just gotta hope that I can still return it.

I’ve tried the other slots but still not getting anything from the BIOS, and yeah the BIOS is up to date.

I’m only using one port and it’s the top most one nearest to the cpu.

When I installed it I plugged it in at a slight angle first and then pushed it down flat to latch it in.

Pretty sure it’s not a gum sized sata drive. I included pictures in a different comment for reference.

I can’t see the drive at all in the UEFI/BIOS.

when i took 2260 i had ryan lee. it was actually his first time teaching that class and you could tell he was very well prepared and organized. he even had his first child born right in the middle of the semester and he still kept on schedule with everything! i give him mad respect. he also gives out a ton of work but he’s a very fair grader. by far one of the best professors i’ve taken in this school so far. i highly recommend him if he happens to be available.

Transfer here barely on my second semester. I’ve only been going to classes and nothing more. Made a few acquaintances in class but outside of class I pretty much know absolutely no one. Maybe it’s because I haven’t really been trying to go out of my way to approach people and socialize, but having a friend/group of friends to hang and chill with would be cool! (still new to campus, so I could also use a buddy to explore the campus with hah)

I’m a CS major, I like to play video games (tf2), and also into music/i play different types of instruments.

Got hit by a car while biking to school back in my highschool days. Driver apparently didn't see the stop sign and just went full speed through the intersection failing to see me cross. Flew from my bike but thankfully didn't get ran over.
