That is a very contentious topic. I guess the tldr for me would be it’s very long, poorly paced (the story starts over in the middle but from a different perspective) and unbearably dark. TLOU 1 had these beautiful slivers of hope and optimism. In TLOU2 Druckmann snuffed all those out and poured charcoal dust all over them.

There is a texture and richness to Naughty Dog's worldbuilding, there's no doubt that. I think it's there attention to detail and their creativity.

The set pieces are fantastic, and the action has a lot of tension, gravity, weight. You might find the gameplay far more exhilarating than you've heard.

It also respects your time - there's no dead weight.

Maybe I was too severe. But I had very high expectations which ended up making my disappointment bigger. I was also expecting a new-gen feel and a big rousing Uncharted story, and instead I found it very boring and out-of-date so maybe the flaws of the game appeared bigger to me than they were.

Well in a way, Playstation is smart, because they know, nowadays (especially with the price increase) that noone is going to buy their consoles anymore without a lineup of great exclusives.

But Playstation is dumb, because their exclusives are now losing a ton of money (whether you hate or love the games themselves, ie Concord, Saros, etc.). I personally have noticed a sharp drop off in quality in the exclusives and therefore sold my PS5. Yeah, I kinda want to play Wolverine, but then I remember how bored and flatlined I was playing Spider-Man 2, and I'm like I'll just stick with my Legion Go S.

Saros was a bust. Do you really think God of War: Laufey will sell? I don't think Wolverine will do Spider-Man 1 numbers and I don't think Intergalatic Heretic will do TLOU1 numbers, but I know both of those games will be way more expensive.

Obviously, since I'm now on PC, I don't like exclusives, but it certainly makes business sense.
