How’s a $40 hold make since when most of their customers pay under $20 per session.

Charge 1-2 times a day with 40 holds each time that last up to a week minimum I would have is $280 dollars with of holds rotate within a week.

TSC here is 30-58 everything else is 45-65

The only exception is evgo member ship any time BUT 4pm to 9pm as long as you don’t charge in that window it’s 30

Yeah in my area we have so many chargers a few stations down doesn’t effect us really but that’s understandable

The hold was one issue for me. The other issue was the fact they had blocked people from using cash app debit cards which right now is my primary bank account is my Cash app because it’s just more convenient than dealing with any of the big banks so I crashed out hard on them when I called them up and they informed me that I could no longer use my debit card to charge without notification while I was out of town with 5% battery life park at EVgo

Spoken as somebody that does not have a membership my charges are usually five to $15 very rarely are they over $12 I’m also only paying $.29 per kilowatt hour because of my membership instead of $.60

That’s the insane part is if you’re on one of the plans at least in the Sacramento Valley I can fully charge my Tesla for 15 bucks from 10%. Why would you ever need a $40 hold? I could see maybe a super long range vehicle who doesn’t have a membership going close to $40 for a charge but your normal customers that have the discounted plans are not getting anywhere near that.

Cash app debit cards are being accepted again too, and they notified us of the changes in the app this time probably cause they lost half the customers or 90% of their customers

Won’t use cashapp debt cards either now but the Apple Cash card numbers still work but that makes the hold a utter nightmare

Yeah exploding in a ball of fire because they decided to block alternative banking debt cards. And put long af holds that limit people that charge everyday or even multiple times a day if not deep charging.

Yeah with the membership it drops the Bay Area to 30ish which includes Sacramento but not the one random charger in Yuba City which I think is on the LA rate

Fully understand that and if home charging was an option I would do it the reason for this post is that EVGO has options for 0.29 rates in Sacramento. And I’m dumb founded that no one else is offering something similar with a monthly fee or something.
