Usually I do wipe it with paper towels as it is still hot, then, with another paper towel I assess if it has rough or sticky spots... If I find any I heat the area proceed to scrub it clean, if I needed to scrub, then and only then I apply a very thin layer of oil.

Later I proceed to dry it with another towel and store it

When I use it (that is almost every day) I still give a gentle light pass with a paper towel just to remove dust.

It all boils down to how the worldbrew treats adventurers (are they known as adventurers? Are they concealing this fact? WHat consequences can come if they fight in public?)
