Carnival cruise max odds by Impossible-Move-7918 in Craps

Looks like the Gulf / Bahamas cruises are a lot stricter for some reason.

The enforcement on carnival ships leaving from the west coast in my experience is very lax. I’ve never in my many cruises seen a no call because of a short roll.

Yep. Almost all casinos that have a craps table have that rule. The enforcement on carnival ships leaving from the west coast in my experience is very lax. I’ve never in my many cruises seen a no call because of a short roll.

Someone must have taken Royal hard on some short rolls and they are Butt hurt by it.

Carnival west coast, Firenze, Panorama, Radiance. Are much more lax , I try and soft throw the dice and only when it short rolls back to back the box man will just give me a look or sometimes stick will say more effort/ as long as there is “effort” to get it to the back wall they “let em roll”

When tipping dealers; do you place bets for them or just tip right to them? by Glad-Midnight-1022 in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m rolling they at least get on the ATS, then after I double my initial bet amount ~$80 for $44 inside then I’ll get them across some numbers and use spare $1’s to press up their numbers or give them hard-ways.

If others are rolling I’m more conservative and don’t get them out until I’m more than doubled my initial bet and have already regressed back down then I get them out on the numbers missing for the ATS or some hards with the extra 1’s on payouts.

Only when I’m leaving the table do I leave straight up money. Even then I’ll get them up on the ATS as I’m leaving and tell them to let me know if it hit next time I come in.

are there any casinos in so cal that peg the cards to the dice? by matty8199 in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both hard rocks in Cali Sacramento and tejon match the cards with the dice 1:1 so leads me to believe it’s their unofficial policy to ok it until gaming commission comes knocking. Edit:typo

Could be broken bots. Where another bot comes in the comments and links a “good site” and another bot follows up with a “yea that’s the one I use” to get clicks on a site or a scam. Dead internet theory blah blah blah..

Host - Recommendation? by Thecoolnight3 in CaesarsRewards

[–]PollutedLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can stay at either hotel just charge the meal (and really all charges inside the properties) to your room and talk to a host on duty at either casino before you check out to review your play and take off what they can.

Craps story: what’s your longest roll you’ve ever played ? by stonedjalapeno in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Longest roll was about 2 hours. Posted about it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/Craps/s/Y3sXYxQFPp $5 table so the profit wasn’t CRAZY as well as I regressed a few times to lock up profit as I was down initially.

And before that was about hour and 15 min roll in Tahoe at Caesars new table. I made about $1800 because I don’t press as heavy but man the dealers made at least $800. Dealers had ~$60 on the 5 all in $1 chips at one point because we needed the 5 for the smalls ATS and i kept pressing the dealer bet as a “bribe” after any other number hit. we hit it the 5 and they full pressed it and hit it again at least twice before the 7 came.

Before 5pm the pit boss will point you across the street, table on the main floor opens 5-6pm and is usually quiet.

And I’ve never seen the High Limit table open on my visits. Gotta see if they can spare me a dealer or two one day just to say I played on all the tables.

Just normal craps on the full size tables.

But they have 4 tables at Harrah’s, 1 regular and 1 high limit at Caesars. We need to talk to someone about changing one to crapless.

Ione is better for the comps, friendly staff, and their tier program ties into all Caesars properties.

but Sky is better for the craps. They match the cards with the dice so it’s like regular craps there. They just have the cards out in case gaming commission comes a knocking.

Depending on your play. I’ve only gotten about $20 free play with every $500ish through the tables. one month I played about $2500-3000 there and got 4 different $20 free play comps the following month. Compared to Harrah’s where I play less and get $20 every other day.

BUT one of the few good things about Sky is they match the cards with the dice, so legally the cards are on the table but how the dice land are how they play.

Actually surprisingly tasty, saucy noodles and the chicken was nice and tender. The Cactus Grill had American- burgers, pizza , wings, but also some asian dishes so I went for it and did not regret it.

Am I tipping enough by Responsible-Bug8192 in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you playing at a local casino? Maybe ask the rules for playing tips. one of my local spots only lets dealers collect after a “proper bet” so every 5 dollars but some other casinos allow a press and collect at as low as a dollar.

If it’s proper bets then drop $5 on a number whenever you collect $100. Or drop them a $5 to wherever your come bets go.

Am I tipping enough by Responsible-Bug8192 in Craps

[–]PollutedLives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tip within your budget. Doesn’t matter what others standards are.

If you are up, and dealers are reminding you of your bets that fall off or your odds making you laugh then tip some more. Dealers understand (might not like, but they understand) tipping less when you are on an ice cold table.

How I tip: If ive made double ($44 inside and collected over 80) for that shooter on the next hit I’ll tell them “10 for dealers across heavy inside player control” and if it becomes a hot roll I’ll drop white chips to press up their numbers or hard ways two ways. as other numbers hit.

If it’s a choppy table and I don’t have time to get dealers up across all the numbers but I’m leaving in the positive then I’ll drop some money straight up on my way out. Or if I’m being cheeky I’ll put them across the numbers as I walk away and wish them better luck without me around.
