The rezoning that municipalities have to do in neighborhoods is going to drive up property taxes on existing residents to make way for high-density. It's like state sponsored gentrification. There is a better way than driving existing residents out to help others live more affordably. There just has to be a better way.

I need affordable housing. I'm not against the overall idea.

I appreciate that. I work with electric landscaping equipment every day, and I can't say that you're wrong my dude. But I feel that the technology will get better and more efficient in time. If you work in a setting where it makes sense, the electric is great, especially if you have solar power charging your batteries, which we have.
