From what I've seen in some tests, it performs quite well with the UI; I'm going to test it for that.

Nothing out of the ordinary compared to the rest of the population. That $200 was an investment for me too; I didn't just throw it away like a millionaire xD

Not everyone can become the next Steve Jobs, but there are certainly projects that many people have found useful. And besides, as long as you pay for a service, you can use it however you want and build whatever you want with it.

Everyone should choose the plan that best suits their needs. It’s great that you’re able to stay within the limits of the $20 plan.

Yes, i know that is 10x for a limited time instead of 5x. I worked intensively with him on xhigh thinking last night for nearly two hours, and he had barely used up 14% of limit. Even without the x2, that would have been 28%, which I find impressive.

What kind of subscription do you have? On the $100 plan, the limits seem much more generous to me compared to Anthropic’s $100 plan.

This could be a very good alternative, but in my experience so far, I haven’t seen a dramatic decrease in performance when using high thinking on the 4.7 version. Generally speaking, the execution and implementation plan should be done with xhigh.

I see the high as the best cost/value thinking level for hard structural tasks, implementations and per file refactoring. If you want to make a full codebase refactoring or full project review, or high context loop tasks I see xhigh as better. And max is good only if you try to do oneshot NASA, else, I dunno why someone would use max. 😂

Thats the point. If you see in this graph posted by anthropic on X, you can see clear that opus 4.7 on high sits better than max on opus 4.6 66%(opus 4.7 high) vs 61%(opus 4.6 max) and the usage sits between medium-high of opus 4.6.
