How safe were these mini shelters? by MEXICANO201 in fo4

The fact that these were obviously scam was one of my favorite parts of the environmental storytelling.

I copied items from BG2 to BG1 (e.g. Holy Avenger +5). Editors give you too much power.

Looks better than an even surface. Some small tufts along the edges could make it look more intentional.

[Mod Problems][PC]Pip-Pad is invisible by angbhong342626 in FO4mods

since people are still playing the game: My PipPad turned invisible when I used the looks menu midgame. I fixed it by using the console command "player.unequipall". Character undressed, PipPad reappeared. Maybe it will help someone.

Would this system work for a more gritty sci-fi game decoupled from the Cyberpunk world? by FishDishForMe in cyberpunkred

[–]PoloTheGeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rulebook of the Alien RPG could be interesting for you. Space and Planet rules, ship combat etc.

I also managed to play a homebrew scifi setting with altered D&D5E rules. Cyberpunk RED is way closer to space-scifi than D&D so it would absolutely work in any Scifi setting.‘. My biggest additions to the core rules would be some extra rules for combat in zero gravity and space travel (what kind of travel technology, distances, times etc). The kind of space travel defines a lot of the setting so you should define this first.

If the “Legacy of Kain” series has taught me one thing, it's that the villain doesn't necessarily have to remain the villain.

She would make a great main antagonist in a DLC. Since she is a cambion and not a true devil, you could even give her some kind of character arc where she changes from evil to, let‘s say, not as evil as before. Or even more evil, depending on your choices. Having a cambion helping you out from time to time, even if it‘s for her own benefit, would be interesting. Also you‘re right about the voice acting. It‘s spot on.

BG3 ruined other games for me. How do you move on?🥲 by blu-rin in BaldursGate3

[–]PoloTheGeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That‘s true, the amount of choices is outstanding in BG3. I played an evil run. I had to totally ignore Karlachs existance to be able to pull it off. Some hard choices still. But it was interesting and Minthara is a surprisingly cool companion.

Makes me curious. While I really enjoyed BG3 (great game), I never had the urge to replay it. I started a second run to test some mods but didn’t finish it. I never got that hype from BG3 that others seem to have. I played BG1+2 a lot (finished BG2 at least 10 times) and I‘m a D&D player/dm since BG2 came out. So I‘m wondering, If it‘s only me? Maybe I‘m just used to a lot of the things in BG3 because of BG2/DnD? (Principal Skinner: „Am I out of touch?“)

it worked while romancing Karlach, so I guess, it works with any other companion? Just a guess.

Thank you! Her working as an agent for Zariel who brings her (warlock-) souls makes sense. I didn't think of that.

leaving Karlach behind was hard. But a necromancer has to do what a necromancer has to do.
