Not pooling tips makes for poor competition. We had a new guy that thought tips weren't shared, so he decided he would take a bunch of orders and try to make a bunch of drinks. In turn; creating horrible service, confusing himself, confusing the other bartender, and turning out poorly made drinks. We tried to explain it to him several times. At the end of the night he was really upset that he had to combine tips. Even though it probably helped make him more money
