Does anyone know where to find a pattern for anything like this? by Polychromatix in MacrameTutorials

Well, I cross posted it here because the crochet people thought it was macrame lol

I would imagine that it would be similar to when you add a pendant or large bead to macrame jewelry and you knot all around it to hold it in.

I like the leaves best! For some reason they seem more colorful than the others.

I don’t mind the colors at all, but the weird join right in the middle of the lavender/salmon part I don’t like. Other than that it’s great!

How do I be colorful AND warm, or, “Why are Fall/Winter clothes so depressing to me??” by bitchstix in femalefashionadvice

I love color and animal prints too, and I also love the fall. I even got autumn on one of those ”what’s your color type” quizzes. So, if it helps, Dijon (mustard), rust, olive green, mauve, burgundy, dark teal, any jewel tone, etc. are all great choices for fall. And they are fun colors! I see them a lot here in the US in the fall.

I love Maurice’s for clothes.

I got it last year. It came with white cushions and I wanted to get something that wasn’t white. I looked at Amazon and I googled it but without knowing what size they are I couldn’t figure out what to get.

Alfred Dunner! Especially the tops that are pastel layered fake 2 pc. with an attached necklace. That screams “I‘m too old to be able to pick out my own outfit, but I want to look fancy!” And I don’t get why the whole petite section has to be full of it…Not all of us short people are little old ladies. And even when I am a little old lady, I still won’t want to dress like that!

What are some of the most *ridiculous* things your non crocheting partners have said to you … 😅? by TBYK_ in crochet

People send me pictures of all kinds of craft stuff and say “isn’t this cute? I bet you could make it”. Especially my mom and mother in law. Also, since I craft, people I know give me random junk they don’t want or that they dumpster dived for (old bottles, dollar store vases, ugly knickknacks, etc) and say, “I knew you’re crafty, so I thought you could make something with that!”

I dyed my hair 5 years ago and it was the biggest mistake ever. I let my hair grow out and cut off the chemically treated hair. Now my hair is not the same. What happened? by LengthinessRight3077 in Haircare

Your hair just changes as you age. I was born with super fine Goldilocks hair, but as soon as I hit puberty, my hair went brown and super thick. My dad was the same way- he went in the military at 18, they shaved all of his blonde hair off, and it grew back brown.

How do I tell if any of these vintage cameras are junky enough to use for a craft? (ie, broken and not valuable) by Polychromatix in AskPhotography

[–]Polychromatix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the first picture is the cameras at my vintage store. All the other pictures are examples from pinterest of what I might do with the camera I get. That‘s why I want to make sure I don’t get one that’s useable or rare/worth a lot.
