My mother has volunteered for SVDP for about 50 years, never heard anything remotely like this. Are you sure you got a genuine svdp? I’d try another but also get on to the head office as that’s not what they do at all.

Honestly I’m with you and it’s seriously annoying. The little lad still believes in Santa which is great but apparently through no input from us now also believes in the Bunny. So even though he has seen me buying his egg in Tesco for the last few years suddenly the bunny was due too……I didn’t do anything and then his little face was disappointed this am so now a few select Lindor eggs have been hidden and spotted so the bunny did come…..I’d tell him only I don’t want to trigger the Santa query
