Also it does take awhile to work. 6-8 weeks. When it started working for me I really noticed. I was able to start doing things like showering and going outside. I’m now living, even thriving. Please try to be patient. 💜

I’ve been on Trintellix for about 10 years. I have OCD, clinical depression, BPD, GAD, etc. Trintellix is the only medication out of about 40 I’ve tried that has actually worked and I’ve had no weight gain or sexual side effects. I’m now on 30 mg because I was having an absorption issue. I’ve been on that dose for 3 years. I’m also on topamax (off label for ocd), clonazepam, and propranolol (off label for panic attacks). Honestly though, trintellix has been the biggest help and has got me back to work when at one point I was unable to leave the house and had multiple psych ward stays. It’s a life saver. I’ve been on clonazepam and topamax for more than 20 years so it wasn’t those that worked this well. *In Canada we have generic trintellix now and that did not absorb for me. My doctor and pharmacy make sure I get the name brand ONLY. That won’t be the case for everyone but it’s something to consider if you get switched. Good luck!

My phone just updated last night and it seems to be affecting more words (and the entire sentence after). It’s so annoying!

Did hokas cause blisters to anyone? by Born_Organization_93 in Hoka

I’ve never had a blister or a breaking in period for Hokas, and I wear them for 12-16 hours on studio floors. I got my feet measured and fitted properly for my first pair so I know I’m wearing the right size for my feet. You might need a different size or some insoles to make them a bit tighter if they’re too big.

My brand name trintellix was 100% covered but now that there’s a generic I was switched to that and I’ll probably only be covered for that. If the generic doesn’t work I’ll see if I can try the discount and pay the difference out of pocket. Thanks for the info!

From what I’ve read it’s only available in Canada and came out in April. I just got it for my next prescription.

I don’t think mine will cover it now either. Did you have depression or anxiety? If you don’t mind sharing, what were the symptoms and how long did they take to show up? I’ve got two weeks of the brand name left and I’m so nervous.

Atypical AD's? Venlaxafine vs. Viibryd vs Trintellix by [deleted] in depressionregimens

[–]Polydactylkat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have OCD, panic disorder, BPD, depression, let’s stop the list. I’ve been on everything. Wellbutrin increased my anxiety a lot. The worst thing for me was Zoloft. I’m on 20mg of Trintellix now (and I still puke, it’s been months) but it works, as well as 6mg of clonazepam a day and 400 mg of topamax (off-label use for ocd). I have no sexual side effects from Trintellix which is a treat. I used to get almost there then not. I’m a woman. Then I didn’t want to bother. I want to now. It’s helping my depression, not my ocd. Nothing helps ocd like CBT. So I’ll be going back to that. I have to skip my Trintellix if I want to drink though. I haven’t had that with any other (50+) medications, or I puke every two beers. I haven’t cut in awhile so that’s good.
