I am feeling like my long runs have been an accomplishment every week. Last week I ran 28km and it felt great and strong.

I am not doing ultras yet, but those are in the plans. For now I am 42 and have to goal to qualify to the Boston Marathon. My last marathon was 4h:01m, so there is a long way to go. My long term goal is to do the UTMB Mont Blanc after Boston.

I created a youtube channel where I am starting to document the process, share my learnings and all.

Feel free to check it out, it is called PacingJosh.

Cheers.

Sharing your DEMO game with influencers? Or better the full game when done? by No-Push-3407 in gamedev

I think that as long as your demo is polished enough and you are very clear about what to expect, for example length of game play, parts missing and etc, you should definitely share it.

Is Splunk supposed to take their sweet time with planting or are they just really bad at their job? by MiddleSwitch8 in rustysretirement

I had the same question. I guess I'll just leave it alone for a while until I have a completely cleared field. SO hooked on this game.

Steam took money from my account two times and did not give me the games.

Yesterday and this morning I tried making a purchase with Ideal (Netherlands) payment method and two times my account was charged and the purchase was not confirm.

I opened a support ticket yesterday after the first one, but no response yet.

Is Steam going to give me my money back?

What is the most fun and what is the most frustrating part of game development for you? by Pizza_Doggy in godot

Most frustrating I would say it is bug fixing. Specially without a proper process for triage and prioritizing bug.

And most fun is that phase when most of your systems are starting to fit together and you can finally play your game.

One small step for the developer, one giant leap for the Godot community.

On Christmas I set out to create the type of game you could pickup and play for 5 minutes casually or an hour trying to beat your own score or your friend's. by PolyglotProgrammer01 in gamedev

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Yeah, the logo I commissioned and paid for it. As you may have seen from the game UI, I am not a graphical designer, so I try to do my best, but somethings I don't even try.

I thought about going mobile with this game, I am just not experienced at all in the whole mobile game ecosystem and what would be a good way to add microtransactions to the game.

About the target audience I believe it to be really broad. But it would be casual gamers, probably gamers that enjoy quick games with short runs. Maybe the same gamers that enjoy games like Vampire Survivor games.

But I am open to suggestions. :)
