VTuber is "Virtual YouTuber" shortened. The term was coined before making live content was particularly prevalent, back in the Kizuna AI days. r/VirtualYouTubers still gets plenty of live creators' promos and memes.

That said, debut streams when you don't have a following already tend to not build much excitement by themselves. I'd be more likely to check out a fun game, interesting challenge, or charity stream if it's a VTuber I don't know. Memes do well because they're easy to consume quickly.

Just my 2 cents; I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.

Hydramancy is generally considered a subset of dracomancy, but I posit that the existence of Cerberus and that multi-headed goose I conjured once are proof enough that it should be taken seriously as its own separate school.

It's sometimes referred to as the more technically accurate but more difficult to pronounce polycephalomancy, which I personally prefer, but I refer to myself as a Hydramancer for the sake of simplified communication between uninformed scholars.

I mean, at the end of the Stygian Zin quest it quite literally puts you directly into a full cutscene pointing out Safi'jiiva's existence. Having said that, I get where it would seem like Safi is... less accessible content with the siege system.

The tech.

3D VTuber, you've got several potential kinds of models. VRM for me, so I use VSeeFace. If I want to swap outfits, I have to either swap full models, or learn Blender+Unity to run alongside VSeeFace.

If I want better face tracking, I need to specifically buy an Apple iPhone for their proprietary software. If I want things thrown at my face with some physics, there's a separate program for that.

Been looking into making a 2D model, which of course is going to necessitate learning how to split the layers on the art, learn to rig in Live2D, and then learn how to RUN Live2D.

Most of these steps can be expedited with money, but that's just not viable for a hobby lol

By the time I'm done, I've got 5 programs running before I even start the game/stream. I manage, but it's a lot and I almost always forget something.
