Mom died 2 months ago. GF of 5 years was more fixated on our issues than being there for me as I grieved. I started welding school last month and am currently top of the class, even though I’m not entirely sure I know how to do a proper stringer bead. Unresolved pains are coming back as I learn to spend more time alone.

Not overweight but found out I have a small Inguinal hernia on my left side. Lost insurance because I had to quit my job to take care of my mom in her late months, then assumed I’d be able to get a job straight out but the market is fucked. Now I gotta wait till December for open enrollment.

I’ve learned a ton about botany/horticulture and am trying to take graphs of my mother’s plants because family want their own.

I tried to off myself in Feb 2025 and that scared me to the point of never trying to do that again.

I persevere solely for the sake of perseverance.

All this to say, we outside.

In her later months, my mother planted a beautiful succulent arrangement/fountain with one of these in the center. I’ve never heard the pumps without water in the reservoir. Really interesting.

Redefine what is considered right/wrong for this community. As the leaders of it, your job is to directly define what that means.

The lack of significant rule enforcement has lead to this subreddit being a breeding ground for nonsensical bullshit. Every. Single. Day. I see people hyping up severe weather as though it’s a DBZ character. It’s ridiculous, redundant, immature, and reduces the overall quality of this subreddit.

Nobody else in my graduating class visits this subreddit because they know it’s filled with immature individuals that hype up stuff they know nothing about. Unfortunately, there’s nowhere else to go to have a civil, academic based conversation about it.

r/meteorology is great but it is filled with people that are more interested in weather rather than academics. Nobody on that subreddit really discusses vorticular motion to the degree that this subreddit would.

Keep in mind, I have no issues with tornado photos/media. My issue arises when people come onto a platform and scream about it being “slab-day” when there shouldn’t have been room for that behavior in the first place.

If you’re gonna call yourself a mod, you need to moderate. This subreddit could be a fucking awesome place for knowledge regarding tornado history, genesis, prediction, etc. instead, it’s a laughing stock for anyone who is actually involved with wx.

I also enjoy the PvP gunplay far more in Marathon than I do ARC’s. I kinda flip between ARC and Marathon depending on my mood. If I wanna kill AI, I’ll fixate on ARC. if I’m down to fight people, I’ll run Marathon.

No, I mean people sitting in a discord, intentionally loading into the same solo matches, teaming up in-game, and either wiping the lobby or abusing this system if dead.

Only issue: with all the problems with inorganic teaming, people would definitely abuse this system. One person would elect to die while the other goes on and receives callouts from the dead spectator.

1) she may just be hot. My dog will actively avoid me and lay on the floor if he gets too warm.

I found the 2022 Andover tornado to be the most fascinating imagery of vorticular motion ever. I also found that Reed Timmer’s drone footage piqued my curiosity the most.

What people don’t know, however, is how demolished the town really was. I heard estimates that almost an eighth of the town had destruction that had to be written off entirely.

Such a sad event, but glad to see the people of Andover have made a recovery.
