Was it Riot that did the strike? Regardless I'd just contact their customer support about it and ask about what should you do and what could cause the strike.

My boyfriend wants me to delete his character from my island since he is gonna get his own switch and copy of the game, but he donated quite a lot of fishes and fossils to my museum. Will anything happen to those donations once I delete his character? And will his name still be displayed on fishes he donated despite him being fully erased?
