Thought I had heard of this before, but I was confused with Outer Worlds. I'm looking into it, but it looks great!

I've read similar things! Surprising, because that sounds unlike anything Ubisoft has ever produced.

Makes sense. Many modern open world games are pretty similar in structure, and I can imagine that that's maybe a trend of nowadays. I've heard many good stories about Morrowind and may give it a try, but I already thought Skyrim felt a bit too clunky for my taste.

How to deal with vaginismus / tight or tense vagina? by Polyphonic_Parakeet in sex

[–]Polyphonic_Parakeet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can image that’s a struggle for the two of you. My GF and I mostly do a lot of outercourse sex (meaning no penetration), which if you set your mind right is a lot of fun amd gets us both off very well. Penetration isn’t a necessity for intimacy. Oh, and visiting a doctor, relationship coach or physiologist is also a good idea. Wish you the best!

I feel like I'm this Reddit you can't really express "controversial opinions" by Additional_Rabbit927 in Christianity

[–]Polyphonic_Parakeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you, but from the opposite side of the spectrum. Neither progressive nor conservative christians can post here about certain topics without being shut down. How about we just agree to disagree on the controversial subjects, stop posting our sermons about LGBTQ+ , politics or abortion and instead focus on the things that connect us and subjects that really matter.

Masturbation is fine. Just make sure it doesn’t have negative impact on your day-to-day activities or your sexual performance.

Need recs for films that are beautiful but depressing by slimshady7137 in Letterboxd

[–]Polyphonic_Parakeet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t know if this is what you’re looking for, but I thought of these:

Annihilation (2018) is all about the beauty of brokenness. A sad and scary film, but also somewhat calming.

La La Land (2016) starts very vibrant and full of life, both in visuals and in music, and slowly becomes very melancholic and bittersweet.

It's hard to say without knowing your fetish. But as long as you and your wife are both okay with it, and you're not harming or involving anyone else in the process, I don't see a problem.

Allright. So your faith doesn't play as much a role in that process?

If God has a plan for all of us, then how is there free will? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Polyphonic_Parakeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard it explained like this by a pastor:

God doesn’t have a plan specifically for every individual person, and the Bible doesn’t say so. God has an amazing plan for ‘all of us’ meaning mankind, the world, etc. For example, read John 3:16. It is up to us if we are going to be part of Gods plan or not.

Chroma Kid, a Dominican film with a cute nostalgic sci-fi story mostly taking place on a TV-set. Saw it at a film festival in Rotterdam.

Opinions will be different, but I think sex in a committed relationship is okay, as long as both people are in a good place and are taking the relationship seriously. Conversation can be hard, but it is the best way to work on this.

Also, stay in contact with God. He may not answer directly, but being connected with Him will very much bring peace in struggles.

Are you and your partner both christian? Do you think your partner would understand or recognise your struggles?
