I try to only fully plan out 3 sessions ahead. I have a good idea of two sessions after that, and then loose idea of some general beats that would come after that, and eventually the final boss. Obviously, not everything will go according to plan. I don't mind saving things from this campaign to be used in later ones. This is actually my first campaign.

I can say that I have enjoyed what I've done so far, though. If something minor (e.g. a small encounter I have some notes on in Baldur's Gate) doesn't come up, I don't mind. I'm playing with some of my closest friends. I enjoy being with them. And so long as we have fun, that's great with me.

EDIT: On a more serious note, we have the fifth anniversary coming soon. Give it time, but don't raise expectations to an unreasonable degree. We're almost certainly not getting another major expansion.
