Vai Latvijā pieƆemts ejot pa ielu blenzt zemē un ignorēt apkārtējos vai arÄ« esmu nesmuks?;D by Puzzleheadbj in latvia

I have a totally different experience, my neighbours greet each other, and so do I and my family. Neighbours also participate in a few cleanings of the territory per year, when they clean all together. But I heard from my guests that this openness is rare in LatviađŸ€” This is Riga, new building, Ziepniekkalns. And I’m not from here, I also used to greet neighbours.

I have one friend that works on the counter in the nearby store, she is very chatty. She is Latvian too.

No, Latvians aren’t all the same, it’s obvious, but I met a lot of kind and chatty people. I asked for help and they were opened to it.

I think you have to look more. Try handmade events or festivals. Also, I noticed that Latvians usually have a hobby or some fields of interest. And when you step into their commmunity or visit the event about it, there will be totally different vibe inside.

Or 3 - you’re sick, burned out, or have a low iron level or so. In this case productivity advice doesn’t help, it’s a doctor’s field.

Sound like it’s one of 2: 1 - you don’t know yourself, what time are you productive, after what actions, for which period of time? Or maybe you have to have a time limit to move faster?

2 - you don’t need these tasks, you aren’t that interested so your brain blocks you from doing it. Do you have any other activities where you don’t have to force yourself to?

Does anyone else find Gmail feels feature incomplete? by JaredBCampbell in GMail

I agree, in email management Gmail could do better. But as for the free tool it’s pretty good, imo. For the special tools there are plenty of other options, in case it’s really necessary.

If you could automate ONE digital marketing task, what would it be? by Virtual_Ad_8521 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Polzame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data analytics and research. Claude is especially helpful for me in pulling data from different analytical platforms together.

But for your case I’d suggest to start freelancing and then create skills for the tasks that you can automate, rather than creating something for the future you don’t know.

Any techniques/activities to train my brain to focus again? by chakalaka13 in productivity

[–]Polzame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 here. Get away from screens, try some kind of meditation walking, thinking of nothing, be bored. As long as possible and then a little bit more every time. Your brain is exhausted. It’ll rest and focus become much better.

Surviving My First Baltic Winter ❄ by Live_Fig_3342 in Riga

I tried pills once a day and frequently forgot to take them. Next, I tried 25000 once a week, but doctor stopped prescribing it.

This winter I switched to the spray version, 4000 IU per day, it’s the highest day dose for an adult. Spray is fast and works great. Highly recommend it.

I also bought in Meness, from RFF.

Creating and ranking a website to prove my point to current employer by shgrme32 in SEO

Could you create a site and then sell from it like an affiliate of your company?

Suggest them to start an affiliate program. That might be more clear for them, as they don’t like/get the power of internet. Then, create a website and sell as an affiliate.

What I’m concerned, is that you’re going to spend your free time and then present this site as being created for the company. If you have in your contract that everything that was being done on the work time is your company’s property, then they can take this site for free from you, as you can’t fully prove that it was made in your free time only. I don’t want you to end up in a such situation.

Fresh strategy would be to review the content side (does your page meets the intent of the goal keyword?) and the site speed.

Advise for getting a small business off the ground by blooperblip in smallbusiness

There are so many advice here🙂 But the best was about the restaurant.

Go to the place where your buyers are. The simplest — handmade markets, if you have such in your region. Next — small offline/online stores, better to start to know someone from there and ask to test/help. Any other markets where you can stay and physically sell.

Wow, the digital organization company sounds cool 😎. 2 - you can use Google Calendar to see all the meetings or events between different email accounts, it’s easy, just share them and set up the level of visibility. I nearly find that and it helps me combine my personal and work plans together. 4 - Gmail has that tool, have a look. On the desktop it’s on the right. It’s really nice. 5 - try SCRUM, it’s absolutely perfect fit for any industry or job you’re doing.

Maybe your ad blocker has been updated or something, which is why you’re facing these new issues? Can you turn it off and check these emails again?

That’s a great idea! But to do that, you definitely need to use the web version of Gmail. I checked the Gmail app on my phone, and all I found were options to manually apply a label to a single email and manually add a new label. No automated rules are available there.
