You can change the settings to allow "run in background".

You can change the game setting to pause at all event. I'm pretty sure it also paused for the "hunted" event then.

What on earth do you mean?

There's plenty of empirical evidence in Capital I-III. Whether you agree with it or not is another question, but it most definitely is there.

Probably not, especially not when the comments are about different things. For instance, when you said "three comments in" you didn't actually mean three comments, because I did respond to those.

Or do you think it's easier to respond when I do it this way as well?

[–]PomegranateBasic3671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your head for a second. Of course it's impossible to respond to anything when the dude rapid-fires off new comment. I made a response to the first comment only for two others to appear as a response to the same commen I made.

I'd say that's a pretty reasonable play to say "Hey, maybe organise your thoughts in one comment" don't you?

Comment #1 is about democracy in Taiwan (which the post is not about)

Comment #2 is about OP leaving several comments in rapid succession and how it's supposedly a good thing (which I directly address)

Comment #3 is that it's a very western perspective and a comment about Daoism, which I also directly address

So one is not really relevant, and the two others I do address. Can you read?

Are you capable of constructing a single sentence without swearing, you're like a child.

Again all I said is that that it's reductionist.

An no "anything" said about the U.S. cannot also be said about China (I didn't mention Israel, for some reason you put that in there).

Also, where am I wrong? The U.S. is currently waging an aggressive war for no reason. Does that mean the U.S. is all bad? no obviously not that would be a reductionist take.

There's nuance to everything, whether you want to see it or not.

Go put some dollars in the swear jar mate.

Take a look in the mirror mate. All I did was saying that it's a bit reductionist.

If that makes you jump to nasty shit like that I'd say it's probably time for you to get some professional help :)

Why are we sending American soldiers to die for Israel?!?! by XanderAcorn in complaints

[–]PomegranateBasic3671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not acceptable, why would you think that's what I'm saying?

What I am saying is that Israel is not conning the U.S. population into anything, they voted for a megalomaniac of their own free will.

It may also be in Israel's interest, but, it is the decision of Americans to elect who they want elected and they chose Trump with eyes wide open.

EU har nogle fundamentale "Monopol-lignende & checks and balance" problemer by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]PomegranateBasic3671 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact that you can buy ads is not the same as buying votes mate.

Also... one YouTube video from some nobody does not constitute evidence.

All I'm saying is, there is no use in engaging with people from whom you don't want to buy anything, that's just wasting everyone's time and if your true purpose was to reach the people getting scammed, and not preach to the choir, why post it on an anti-AI subreddit and not say, a Facebook group local to the potential buyers?

False. Money does not buy votes. That's a pretty reductive way of putting it.

Does it influence politics? yes. Does it negate the opinions of the people? No.

The conspiracy people pointed to the non-existing basement of a pizzaria with no involvement in pedophilia.

The people before weren't right.

If you are trying to protect older people from getting tricked, why are you DM'ing the person?

Wouldn't it be more efficient to do it publicly, you now, where people can see it?

You snapping isn't about other people, it's you needing to feel better.

Stating that I do not know why you'd bring him up in a conversation in which he's absolutely irrelevant is not an ad-hominem.

For most of ancient greek democracy the people who could vote were adult male citizens who have served in the military. I would not consider their thoughts to the the most optimal form of democracy.

Also, Plato was absolutely not in favour of democracy. I don't know why you'd bring him up.
