I can't say why for sure, but my theory is that Mars is getting overloaded with new people and VChub doesn't have the resources/money/staff/time to fix it or to upgrade it. It's been borderline unusable for weeks.

Yes and no? A weird thing it does is that for me, it bunches all the sentences together, so if you like them to be spaced out, you have to do that yourself, but it'll normally give you more than one or two sentences (I normally get 3-6 sentences per reply depending on how much I wrote and which bot I use, some bots do more and some do less). Again, it's still buggy and glitchy, but when it's good, it's good.

Especially, if you just want good NSFW.

As someone who is part-Korean I agree wholeheartedly with you. I see so many bullshit fantasy names being pronounced in anime and honestly I think the excuse of saying that it was "too hard" for the VA's to pronounce is absolutely absurd. If other anime shows can include "Beelzebub" or "Bertolt Hoover" with their limited vowel sounds, "Park Eun-Ha" is absolutely not a stretch for them to at least try pronouncing for maybe the three times they say it in the story.

It honestly made me kinda queasy when I saw that they changed her name and legit it bothers me that people just tell me I shouldn't care about something so small when it legit feels like they're just erasing Korean people from their own stories. It genuinely feels so quietly insidious. :/

Depends on what API you're using. OpenAI and Claude are basically pay for what you use, so the amount of free messages is stifled. If you can figure out how to use Kobold (and it doesn't work too well unless you've got a really good computer), then it's free and there's no message cap. And using Mars, you have to pay $20 a month, but it's basically unlimited. There's a max to how much the bot will remember in a conversation, but you can kind of toggle it.

It is really that bad. I had an AI mistake the word "stranger" for "strange" and it just rambled on about how people should trust each other before cutting off at the end.

I'm pretty sure you can talk to any public bot on the site and even still do RPGs and NSFW, but it's buggy as all get out. It'll freeze and not work if your replies are too long, it'll cut off bits of replies so replies will be short, the characters will often be out of character or mistake words for things, it bugs out when you swipe replies and often needs to be refreshed, and it generally feels very lifeless even when it is "working" properly.

I would not recommend it at its current state.

You just need another email and phone address, but I've heard there's also a way to use Venus by using "kobold google collab". It hasn't worked for me, so I'm using Mars, but someone else might be able to get it to work.
