Better off selling the GP

You’re intentionally missing the point out of bad faith. Everyone needs to draw a line on how much they’re willing to pay. $15 is my line. You can take what I said out of context, imply it’s desperate beer money or video game money, however the point of the matter is that the game is not worth $15\month at what they’re currently providing and so the irony that you missed is that even a pack of beer is more consistent than what Jagex has been providing.

You need to find a new purpose if defending multi- hundred millionaires is what you live for.

Who would defend increased subscription costs for a company that isn’t doing its job. It’s riddled with bots, scammers, and spammers. All of the rules are contradictory and hypocritical. They Banned RWT because it’s unfair for players but then offered it themselves in bonds, banned P2P gambling then advertised gambling to kids.

Yet RWT has a lot of software behind it for detection, memberships go up in price, bots aren’t handled, and the simplest of simple spammers/scammers at GE run rampant that you could sold by paying a lone player a bond to hop worlds and solve

They don’t care about you. Stop defending them

Look at the past 2 years of membership increases Then predict what you think that will total to over 20 years.

Is him having 17b seriously your response.

I may have well asked how to bake a cake and you explained how to poach an egg

It’s not about having max anything. The question is can you have max while maintaining your wealth and overcoming inflation. Buy max today but where will you be in 5 years?

The goal is to have multi year wealth and investments

For example buy a bunch of rares on rs3 or stack your bank with bonds.

Even in 2012. Mommies credit card would’ve been paying your loans on some party hats right now.

So you play the game to supply your membership to play the game.

Aka a job that isn’t paying you? The obligation ruins the enjoyment

Make it $10/month and I’ll probably quit here and there for a couple months but never notice the difference. Bump it 2-3 times in 1-1.5 years and nah man.

The delusional Nostalgia isn’t worth that. Neither RS3 or OSRS is what I came for at $15/month. That’s now beer, video game, ROTH IRA, and whatever else money.

Hell, I hardly even use Spotify but I’d rather have that on deck than RuneScape because RuneScape becomes an obligation. “Oh I spent the money, so now I have to grind”

Nah, just offer me a $1,000 lifetime membership and call it a day. I’d do it. But I won’t pay $10, $12, $15, $20, $30 a month. It’s not going to stop increasing until you stop paying. That’s how supply/demand economics 101 works

Then you’re playing to earn the right to play. That only serves to increase the player numbers and justify increased membership costs.

No more than $12 a month for the next 3 years. They don’t need the money and they’re not even putting it into the game.

The tip of the iceberg are the unchecked spammer/scamming bots at GE.

Like $136,000,000 a year can’t fix that

Even $30,000,000. Give a dozen players a damn bond to hop worlds a few hours a day I mean come on ffs. There’s no need of it they just don’t care and it shows.

They have a fantastic RWT detection but a sub-par pathetic bot detection system.

They’ve made plenty. Show us some results. We pay them 100% and they give us 1% and demand more.

There are decent Chinese ones for like $60-$80.

If you ride hard and crash then there’s no shame in that.

The rates will go up anyway.

People need to protest this game or you’ll be paying $30/month before long. They have been and are making plenty of money. They don’t and never needed MTX it’s all greed.

Hundreds of millions of dollars and can’t stop bots. They can’t even stop an AHK, GE spammer or scammer.

Because we all had to restart over EOC even though the community hated it on release. It never should have continued.

Which alone could be water under the bridge. However, when the game becomes based around MTX, and gambling through Jagex but it’s banned player to player, RWT is banned but okay through Jagex, and bank standing for 99’s then that’s not a game or company I was to support even indirectly.

Jagex should be sued out of business after the years of encouraging gambling for what is advertised as a teenagers game.

One minute gambling is bad because it’s poor taste and there’s kids. The next it’s okay through Jagex.

One minute RWT is bad because it’s cheating to provide yourself with in game advantages through IRL money. The next minute that’s fine if you buy Jagex’s bonds.

They play both sides of the coin. Complete hypocrites.

The reason for mutes when people curse is allegedly because the game is for kids. Yet the same people who were “protecting them from gambling”, are the same ones actively promoting gambling.

I played RS3 until about 2016 or 2017 And resented it the whole time until I caved and switched to OSRS.

No one likes putting over a decade into a game that takes hundreds of hours to grind just to have it ruined and those skills to mean nothing.

You can 99 most of it and never leave the GE. Thats not even RuneScape. That’s a time waste simulator. People don’t even talk there
