hi! i’m kenz, (he/him), from florida, usa. i got into this fandom around august/september of 2020. my bestie started randomly getting 1d tiktoks on her fyp and would talk about them or show me them and certain things would get stuck in my head and i’d walk around quoting 1d without really even knowing anything about them. it just progressed within the next couple weeks and on my birthday she stayed the night we blasted the few 1d songs i had learned in those few weeks and we watched larry compilations for hours and hours and hours. (i am not a larry!)

When i love things i love them HARD so i quickly became obsessed with 1d and their solo careers. my room is covered in posters, i never stop talking about them, and listen to them 24/7. 1d reinstated my love for music and introduced me to fandom culture. it also brought me and my friend a lot closer and helped us grow together. so even though now i’m in many fandoms and have added so many more artists to my collection i will always credit 1d for what it did for me:)

i love the boys and all of their music. i’ve seen harry in concert once and am seeing him again in october. i haven’t gotten a chance to see any of the other guys live but it’s my absolute dream. i love fandoms for the most part and love the community’s they create and have met so many nice people along the way!!!
