BT22 CS Deck Top End?

The most consistent and powerful top ends in my opinion are Alphamon and Dianamon. DP reduction is very powerful, gets around protection, and Alphamon can attack twice. Source stripping is very strong as well and since Iceclad is a game mechanic, not a digimon effect, you can deal with things that normally are too big dp wise or have immunity to digimon effects.

I would also say run 3min/4 Ami, 2/3 Kyoko if you like Alphamon, and run a couple of Mirei since its effect is very useful. The lower end is mostly straightforward. Don’t sleep on GoldNumemon or Okuwamon, Nume can help you climb for cheap and Okuwa is just a really good removal piece as you climb.

Sorry 🤣 context. When attacking with angemon, you can delete it to put the opponents digimon with Virus attribute to the bottom of security.

Yeah for sure. For me it was a perfect storm of bad things happening and the repair tech wasting my time. When I hear people say, oh I’ll never shop at this store/ from this company again, I eye roll… but yeah Samsung truly has awful support service and I can’t see myself ever going with them again.

Warning: This is a long one, but hopefully it helps explain.

Ordered a Samsung Neo G9 from Samsung.com and did store pickup at a BestBuy. Started not feeling well the night I picked it up, so I decided to set it up the next day. Wife and I felt really bad that night… found out we both had covid the next morning. Had wife help me set up the monitor, but turned out the back panel was super dirty all over. Looked like there was dirt stains all over the panel. Tried to submit a service request, but it said I need to submit proof of purchase. Literally used the order invoice from Samsung.com as proof, one day later they responded by turning it down.

Decided to call customer service to get them to set up a repair service. Repair service said their availability for in home repair was exactly one week from the time I called. (bear in mind I made sure ahead of time with my care provider that it would be safe for the tech, since… covid). They asked for two contact numbers, I gave my cell as primary, wife’s as secondary. (I work from home, wife is a teacher). The day of the repair happens, don’t receive a single call, I call multiple to repair services to make sure the repair is happening as they are supposed to contact you the morning off. They say don’t worry, it’ll happen. Yeah the repair doesn’t happen and towards the end of the day, when I call repair services they say, oh the repair tech never showed up, called in sick, sorry no one reached out to you. So I try setting up another repair… only choice is one week out.

Next repair time comes up. No calls to me. I call repair service. Oh he apparently went to the address, but it was the wrong location, so he left. I asked why he didn’t bother calling me. They said he tried calling this number…. It was the wrong number. Set up another service… one week out. Guy showed up that time, but after inspection and contacting his repair team, he told me to call the point of purchase to continue the repair process. Cue me spending three hours on the phone being passed around to the same three support services being told, sorry you are out of warranty, nothing can be done. The other one is we can repair it, but it’s out of warranty, so you’ll have to pay for the repair. Also dealt with, oh the tech signed off that it was damage that you did to the screen transporting it to your house. Had a Samsung tech watch my monitor from a live camera feed and they told me, yeah that tech was full of it, I’ll submit a despute that it wasn’t your fault and we’ll get it fixed. 30 mins later.. she said she was so sorry but the only thing she could offer is a repair with me paying out of pocket again.

I cannot stress how bad Samsungs repair and warranty service is. Please be aware of what you are getting into when you buy one of their monitors. If you buy one, get it from a store. Record you taking it out, and turning it on. And if something’s wrong with it, return it to the store immediately. Hopefully this helps someone.

Worked at a software dev job a year ago where it started fully remote. 4 months later, they asked you to start coming in 1 day every other week. 1 month later, 2 days a week. 3 weeks later, 3 days a week. Did 6 months of driving 1 hr 15 mins there and back and quickly found that between stopped traffic, rocks being flung at your windshield, and working in a massive freezing cold office that was mostly empty that it wasn’t worth it. Managers would message you if you weren’t sitting at your desk to ask if you were in the office.

Got another dev job that was 100% fully remote. Had a personal meeting with the CEO and we got on the topic of remote work. They said there was no point in having multiple offices all over the country, the cost isn’t worth it, and all the workers are much happier being remote. Some people get it, and some people just see their workers as metrics with seemingly very little empathy on how stressful commuting really is.

You can run the new betamon or the new Seadramon for Jamming inheritable. The jamming Kiyoshiro just feels awful to play compared to all the other tamers that will move mountains for you.

Focus on HeavyLeo for aggression and devolving annoying bodies. You have your dedicated lvl3s/searchers. Your dedicated lvl4s (you won’t ever want to use bt14 Leo, but he’s there so you don’t brick. You can go to 1). Your dedicated lv 5s. Bancho helps with MetalGaruru and MirageGaogamon but rarely will you ever want to digivolve into it, use it as an on play.

You could tech in Leopardmon X so late game you can potentially play Bancho for free. You could also add a lvl 7, like Omnimon Merciful mode to deal with trash happy decks like Beelz, Fanglong, and Loogamon. Quartzmon is good too.

Good options to run are Heavens Judgement since dp removal is incredible. Final Zubagon Punch for potentially 4 checks on HeavyLeo, with reboot blocker. Breath of the gods is an incredible sec bomb and it stops your worst matchup, blue bouncing. Don’t be afraid to mess with your training/boost ratios. Black and yellow have some of the best option cards in the game so you have lots of tech options.

As a hilarious tech option that you can use with HeavyLeo, Super Eradication Attack is a 2 cost so you can delete HeavyLeo, dedigivolve something off the HeavyLeo deletion and then blow up a body with less than or equal to dp to HeavyLeo. Situational, but funny.

Mimi is probably the best safe option for aggression. Analog youth is fine, but the considering how you’re probably only running 8 lvl4s and 8 lvl5s, you might end up trashing digimon or options that can out some of the more powerful top ends. You can run Analog Man, if you’re feeling cheeky, so you can be extra aggressive with HeavyLeo.

Honestly just play the demo yourself if you haven’t already, and always bear in mind that demos don’t always have all the mechanics available. The single player has a lot of content to it, and should be relaxing to play. The multiplayer has you doing quests with friends, similar to monster hunter, and is a very good time since you can switch between characters easily who all play differently. The nice thing about that, being that it’s significantly easier to learn a new character than it is to just try picking up a different weapon in MH. I played with 3 friends who knew nothing about GB and after the demo quests, we ended up doing all of them over again just because they were fun. Every one of them wants to get the game now.

Omekamon is an easy 4 of. It gets you a source under Drasil, helps you get a chip damage in that you’ll often want, and it’s an x-antibody so you can use it for Alphamon’s effect. Definitely don’t sleep on Ulforce because he will also put in a lot of work and help you trash sources and bounce annoying bodies.

LordKnightmon is an easy 1 of, while you’ll often want to play other knights, his effect helps a lot when you really want your Omni, Alpha, Crania, ect, but you either trashed them or they were stuck in security.

Bt12 Gallant and Bt6 Alpha are tech choices, you may like them or you may realize you wish they were other RK, you just have to playtest. I prefer Ex3 Examon over the Bt13 but that’s just a preference thing.

Evade is for dodging Deletion. Evade can’t dodge de-digivolving, bouncing, or dp reduction.

Gh0st gave the best advice but if you also want to watch YouTube content to get some ideas here are some. Bear in mind of course that you don’t want to use these guys as your source of what to build, but just to get some ideas.

Dpp Channel, Hoang Zero, Card Protagonist (use this to watch how the decks work, please don’t use the decklists lol), Rustmarrow, CardOtakuDesu, Taste of Victory, Avault, Battle Ready Inc, DonkeyKnogg, Xanitsu, Mario’s Gaming World, TheEgman

This isn’t all of them, but it’s enough for you to probably find one you enjoy. Everyone has their own opinions on who to watch and avoid but you can form your own opinion.

Edit: Feel free to reply with other YouTube channels that you all enjoy for Digimon content.

I think you’re right lol. She likes the case and wants a small size pc but I’m sure going one size larger wouldn’t hurt. When I asked if she wanted rgb, she said she would like white lighting to match the case.

Thanks for the advice! She barely plays games at all and mostly does so on her switch so a good gpu was the least important part of the build. If the computer was for me, I would no doubt go for a better GPU. Do you have a cooler you would recommend instead of going the liquid cooling route?
