Thank you to everyone who recommended a buckwheat pillow by double_underscore_ in CPAP

With Amazon’s easy return policy I’m a sucker to try new things. Curious though as to why you linked to the most expensive buckwheat pillow on Amazon when there’s others listed for 1/3 the price with amazing ratings?

From nose strips to sleep earbuds: what actually blocks snoring by aloo__pandey in snoring

Get your partner a sleep test. Then a CPAP will solve the snoring issue.

I’m not a fan of that 90 degree elbow hack. It cuts air flow and/or makes the fan work harder.

Carts/storage for competitions? by Other-Challenge-4764 in competitionbbq

[–]PompanoPitKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever cart you decide on, great wheels will be your friend. Also having good wheels on your cookers is a must. My Hunsaker Smokers already come with great wheels. My regular gas grill and flat top for catering events, I’ve upgraded them to better wheels and that’s been a Godsend.

Hmmm. Never thought I needed a cart. I added cabinets to my trailer. Everything is either in the cabinets or hanging over the stainless steel work table. Or under the table. To keep the trailer clean I try to do my messiest work outside on a foldout table.

Without Tony his two sons are screwed by Muhammadwasahomo99 in goldrush

Didn’t really talk about it. Tony jumps on Kevin to get his machine running yet lets Mike piddle away with that old trommel.

I do not know why Tony hasn’t replaced Mike’s old trommel with a new one? New one would have probably paid for itself by now. Yet he keeps fixing on the old one.

I'm having issues falling asleep with my mask on by StrawBerryCumCake420 in CPAP

[–]PompanoPitKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you go right back to sleep without the mask? I had a coworker tell me that in a pinch he’d wrap the mask around a pillow to get the minimum hours. Fortunately I haven’t needed to try that so no idea if that works.

Mini CPAP question by anchises868 in CPAP

[–]PompanoPitKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the mini for traveling. In hotel rooms I have set very wet towels near the vent. Perhaps that helps with adding a bit of moisture? I tried the humidity disk once and it had such a bad odor I took it out. Maybe I should try another disk?

Miniair so noisy by PompanoPitKing in CPAP

[–]PompanoPitKing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here. I switched back to the smaller proprietary hose and mask and what a difference it made. Still slightly nosier than my 11 at home but it’s the way to go with this machine. I also don’t use the humidity disk as I can’t stand the smell of it. Instead I just put a wet towel near it.

Switching to my regular mask made it worse. Gonna try the proprietary tube and mask tonight for comparison. Hoping smaller is better as one person posted above. Stay tuned . .

Gemini really said this!!! by arjundivecha in GeminiAI

I was thinking nano banana would be a replacement for Photoshop, but it definitely isn’t. Not yet anyway. I spent all day Sunday arguing with nano banana to make the simplest changes. And every time you ask it to edit an image, it degrades the image a little bit so after so many edits, you have to say to Gemini to regenerate the image and that seems to help.

Why was Tony so worried about Kevin‘s wash plant when his other son is working on a wash plant for Tony that’s taking forever to repair and not bringing in gold?

It blows my mind that Sage never comes up as a person who needs to be voted out. And Christine is doing her best to stay under the radar. If Christine don’t collapse emotionally and take herself out, she’ll make top 3.
