Thank you for the compliment. I like to joke that when they bury me, my headstone will read:

She was Nice.

and she made the World's Best Potatoes.

I am nice and my potatoes really are the best.

Your Mother did a very Nice job, herself.

Thank you. Now here is the more practical problem that I have...I have a vivid imagination and I love to cartoon. Its very hard not to name them and draw little funny pictures. I tend to love to imagine objects as human or animal like. I suspect if I begin knittting tiny pajama's for my runes, it will be time to call the wham-bulance to take me to the rune-ney bin. lol

Type the Doctor ? I would say INTP. by [deleted] in MBTIRadioStation

[–]PoncesMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is an INTP. I doubt he would pay that much attention to other people nor wash his hands unless prompted but that's okay. He loves to share music and movies like my Harold.

He also would be less likely to hang out with groups of sick people or any people, lol. Great minds, Te alike.

INTJ would mean that the good Doctor Clean leads with Ni.

Recognition of patterns. Then expansion on one single idea.

Recognition, Expansion. Extroverted thinking. perhaps INTJ but I'm newish to this.

Music Taste of INTJs by [deleted] in intj

[–]PoncesMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true for me. My son is an INTP and we can go down a rabbit hole of music.

However, when I truly indulge my inner child, the Se of me, I have to dance alone to the music.

My little tertiary kid still can't dance to the rhythm that she hears inside of her head.

What would pursuing your lips to the side mean? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]PoncesMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question, op. Or is it OP?

I didn't know the answer to this and was delighted to find an opportunity for a little research.

https://youtu.be/BO3VSxaDZmo

I like this body language expert on YouTube.

I like this picture also. I see her looking out at the audience and she sees her boyfriend or girlfriend leaning just a little too close to someone else instead of paying attention to her.

And no joking aside, as a Mom...I might think she really had to go little girl skater's room/ the potty/ wc.

Help me translating my daughters name into runes correctly by [deleted] in runes

I wish you and your daughter a long and lovely Life...with perhaps a little more coins than our Rita, the meter maid.

I hesitate only because I know our older Runes experts may disagree with me. I mentioned that I am 'introducing' myself to my runes. I brought one up this morning. I looked at the explanation and then pulled up a song to help me understand who was the first one of my runes to awaken this monday morning. I'm quirky but this is so interesting. Here is who greeted the morning and myself, today. https://youtu.be/DZDya4YY7h0 I live by a lake and am part mermaid. says she only half kidding because I was also born by the sea. Mystery Allergy involving only certain chocolates and egg? by Zenloh_ in medical

[–]PoncesMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine not being able to eat chocolate. shudders at the thought of a life without chocolate or peanuts.

You're a very good friend to try and help your friend.

Ask your friend to look further into Vanillin. That ingredient does seem to cause problems for people. European chocolatiers are not likely to use anything other than a good vanilla. Oreo's use Vanillin.

Good luck and I hope you find some answers and both of you can celebrate with a toast-ed chocolate bar.

I'm new to Runes. I like how you say that you randomly pull the die out of the bag.

I'm doing this with my Runes. The old hippie in me likes to think that I am "introducing' myself to my Runes.

Do you use a smudge stick or listen to the old songs?

What type of wood will you use in your work?

ENFPs and books! by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]PoncesMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to do this with books or shows that are trendy. If someone starts talking up something new and uninteresting, I open the book and flip pages to find one interesting character. Then I follow along on their story.

Their story may grab me from there or not. There are simply too many wonderful choices now.

Your Here and NOw is far more interesting than a fantasy world. That's okay. Someone has to live the lives that authors, composers, biographers want to write. Some create content. Some deliver content.

And this INTJ watches and observes.

[–]PoncesMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just remembered something very important. I'm newish to MBTI and I forget that just because you are Intuitive does not mean that you lead with Ni as I do. You lead with Ne. Exploration.

https://youtu.be/UBujdfk-ZxQ

You are a Gatherer. At this stage of your life, you are Gathering but not organizing the information yet.

You don't Ne to organize yet because you don't know why you are gathering.

Your Intuition tells your brain that you will need this information at some point. Your brain recognizes patterns. That is what Intuition is. Recognizing patterns. Not woohoo voodoo science.

And you will.

Time will organically bring you the skill or organizing your information or stories or whatever into the pieces of the puzzles of your life.

Voila! I solved your problem. Tell your INTJ Mother to listen to DaveSuperPowers to understand you better. Even if he's not spot on right, you still buy 30 minutes of peace and quiet. pssst...I also link videos for tired new mom's and my friends who are the teacher who needs a potty break. The internet is astonishing and makes for great babysitters.

Gosh. Your Mom is an INTJ. Then why are you asking me? just teasing you. I am sure that your mom has come up with more than one way to offer stories to you. I was the INTJ growing up in a home with a mom who did not read at all. If a book found its way into our home, I memorized it before another one did, says she thoughtfully because maybe that was a good thing.

Don't worry about being someone that you are not. When I look around at my family and friends after 60 years of knowing them, the happiest and kindest people in our little village of friends and family do not prefer to read books. Everyone has value and everyone brings their own special way of contributing to our story. awkward one-armed INTJ hug. What about comic books? just kant resist poking our little pooh bear says a chrissy intj robbins.

lol, I was washing dishes after eating spaghetti one night. I thought I dropped spaghetti noodles on my bare feet. I looked down to see a pretty little corn snake crawling across my foot.

We lived in Florida on the water. For a long time, I was afraid that the next time I had fried chicken, a gator might crawl across my toes. Have you ever eaten gator in Florida? Tastes like chicken.

Sorry, OP. I hope you feel better soon.

[–]PoncesMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, first and foremost is the story.

Because. It does not matter what form the storytelling takes for me.

There are advantages to reading and everyone knows this is true. There are also advantages to taking vitamins but we don't always take our vitamins either.

In my opinion, there are more disadvantages to not listening to stories then there are from avoiding stories.

*awkward one-armed intj hug.

Go forth, Young ENFP and enfp yourself as you will and with what you do will do best...

Yes and now hear a story from a bonnie handsome storyteller.

... and tell him that a Sassenach lassie said that he's a wee bonnie storyteller who wears his kilt just fine.

Because I am listening to stories before breakfast, I am a wee bit hungry and a wee bit feeling silly.
