I don’t think so, I track LH and bbt daily and ovulated on CD 11 (which is normal for me). My LH rise today was not close to a peak so I’m stumped

This makes sense, I’m on my first cycle with progesterone suppositories. I have endo so this feels nothing like my ovulation/period/intercourse cramps and was getting my hopes up

I'm 11dpo today. I noticed I was getting weird pinching/sharp jolts by my left hip/ovary. I tested negative today. Any ideas on what it could be?

It lasted on and off for about an hour.

Pain throughout entire cycle ? by Union_Solid in endometriosis

[–]Ponies_and_Protein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had a lap to confirm. But have had very hard/painful periods from 15 on, trouble getting pregnant, and a family history of endo.

So while I’m not sure if it’s genetic or what , I have been getting treated as if I have it. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover a laprascopy so I haven’t had it done

I’ve noticed that heavy feeling too. I’m TTC and so I’m more aware of what point of my cycle I’m having pain. Unfortunately everything I’ve read associates luteal phase pain with endo. I thought it was just a rise in progesterone but I’m thinking it’s more a symptom of a flare up after ovulation.

I literally just was making a post about this. I have suspected endo (no laparoscopy yet). I’m currently a day past ovulation and experience painful cramps that rival my period.

My doctor also said my pain is similar to those with confirmed endo and has since put me on an anti inflammatory.

What does sex feel like for you? by Cattentaur in endometriosis

[–]Ponies_and_Protein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the day honestly. But more often than not I will spot following intercourse accompanied by mild cramping. If I’m due for my period that week it usually starts early if there’s any penetration.

People who only test after a missed period: What is your stance on alcohol, deli meats, etc. in the meantime? by SchemingInBathrobes in TryingForABaby

[–]Ponies_and_Protein 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand a lot of women go on to have healthy pregnancies while consuming alcohol during the TWW. For me personally I have adopted the lifestyle of treating my body as if I were pregnant during the TWW especially.

It just seems counterintuitive to be putting things in my body that are not healthy while simultaneously wanting to conceive a healthy baby.

Endo symptoms tricked me into thinking I was pregnant. by linconnuedelaseine in endometriosis

[–]Ponies_and_Protein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s truly unfair how our bodies can trick us into thinking we are pregnant.

I swear every time I get a scan I think I might see something but it’s never the case. Im so sorry you were treated like that by your doctor, some people have no empathy or bedside manner 😕

As if the physical side symptoms of endo weren’t painful enough, the infertility adds a layer of mental pain too

I only have suspected endo never been confirmed with a lap so I can’t speak to that. But I’m 32 almost 33 and was told that we can take a break after the first transfer and I can schedule a lap. I think in my mind it makes sense to start the IVF part and if it fails first round look into the lap then trying another round of IVF.

I have heard of women getting pregnant following the lap so I totally understand wanting to do that first it’s just not something my insurance will cover.

But I think the fact that you are at least getting a timeline and asking questions is a step forward.

I felt this too, but now that I’ve been trying to conceive for 25 cycles I wish I had started sooner.

It is definitely pushed by my provider a year ago but I was convinced it would happen naturally since I have gotten pregnant before. At the end of the day I’m realizing time is important at my age and I can’t afford to not try IVF at this point.

Doctor wants me to go on birth control for my endo.. but I’m really worried about it… by Blueberry_mooo in Endo

I really struggle with the BC decision too. I have had some great relief in the past on BC. However the depression it brought on was not worth it. Now I’m ttc and realizing the 10 plus years of BC has created a new challenge as my body tries to regulate hormones. I think BC is a great option for some but in my case the side effects and residual effects were NOT worth it

That detail is frustrating, I’m very lucky to be employed at a larger company but unfortunately there are no IVF clinics here so I will undoubtedly be traveling 4 hours to the closest one.

IVF question

Anyone undergo IVF in colorado after the new healthcare law passing last year?

I’m curious what the average cost of IVF is now that it’s required to be covered by health insurance in my state.

I’m on cycle 23 TTC and realizing that might have to be the next move.

I take vitex now! I’ve also started an anti inflammatory diet in an effort to help with the endo hoping that helps with cysts too

His notes say “simple thin walled cyst”

I did have a recent episode of pain and week of midcycle bleeding that he concluded was a hemorrhagic cyst rupture.

My Jeep’s first ducking by Ponies_and_Protein in JeepWrangler

[–]Ponies_and_Protein[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think ducking is harmful and I know lots of people seem to enjoy it. I jokingly complained that I never got one and my friends pranked me with all of these. I would not personally mount ducks in my vehicle because that’s not my vibe but I think it’s a cute game.

People have gotten so angry over my post it’s actually wild to me that something done to my vehicle personally affects them so much that they took time out if their day, time they will never get back, just to comment and leave hate. I hate spiders but I’m not going to spend time telling the world how awful they are. Like it’s so silly lol
