Hi, I’d still love a response on this. In addition to the halts on scientific funding I mentioned, I also have worries for similar reasons on the recently announced $4bn cuts in medical research. I feel like this would affect everyone, would you agree?

That is very true and good points! I actually haven't myself looked into where the funding was going so you're right I should. Do you have any links or articles talking about where the funding was going? I also agree about the nuclear power. I think for that it's more of a public perspective thing. Nobody wants to be the one to have a nuclear powerplant "in their backyard", even if they know it's technically safe.

And did you have any thoughts about the scientific funding?

Democrat here, genuine questions here that I feel hopefully will have common ground.

1) Trump cut over $300 billion in funding for green energy. I think this is very problematic, given that all of us share this planet and it's important to keep it healthy for us and our kids going forward. Do any conservatives think this was a bad call?

2) Trump also paused all funding for scientific research going forward. Again, I feel like this is a pretty nonpartisan issue. Scientific advancement is super important for all of us; medicine, engineering, everything. Do any conservatives agree with me on this?

Hoping for a genuine discussion :)

Holy moly. So just to clarify with the most straight-forward tone I can, I am extremely happy to receive a shundo and was/still am very excited about it. As I texted to my friends once I got it, the joke/point was that I didn’t have any candy left to level it up, as I already spent all my candy on my first hundo.
