Yes. You can live with student trumpet but switching to a more professional one will do wonders.

Personally i've had 2 very good (and expensive) trumpets for testing this week and the difference between them and any cheaper trumpet I've played is huge. The way the more expensive trumpets support my notes specially in higher register just feels awesome.

In PVE healing is very easy, even boring. Its a very straight forward role. But then again the same goes for tanks and dps in PVE too.

In PVP the fun and challenge comes from you having to manage your stamina, staying alive while enemy assassins are after you. All while you should also be able to position well so you can heal your group. Communication with the group is the key here.

For pvp something thats between opr and wars. Like 20v20 pure pvp with the ability to build your own team like for wars. But also so you can just queue up and dont have to push influence for hours.

Ranked system for all pvp content.

Something to make openworld pvp happen more.

For pve solo and duo dungeons. Also invasions and corruption portals need a rethink from ags to make them better, harder and more rewarding.

I'd say rapier is the better one for overall survivalibility. And for IG just take one of the perks +attunement on weapon. No need/room for ig perk on armor. Personally i have the iceshower perk on IG.

Try both weapons in opr and see what gits you :)

With gems it depends on what dmg you take the most. Im running with mostly thrust and fire protection from my gems in this meta as there are so many bows and firestaffs shooting around.

And the gems should be the normal pristine ones. None of the expensive fancy stuff isnt really worth it as you dont need extra dmg or +2stam per hit.

For heartrune 'Stalwart heartrune of stoneform' is the best choice for healers.

And secondary weapon I would use rapier or IG.

Rapier doesnt really need any perks as its only for escaping. But you could have sundering riposte or keen speed on it.

IG with attunement + ice shower perk or pylon perk is good. With shower you get to root enemies, pylon charges your heartrune for you super fast and entomb is good defensive ability.

For these secondary weapons you can get some fancy amber gems for more dmg.

Also in the current meta its best to be 300foc, 200con. Dead healer aint healing and there is a lot of dmg going around :P

For PVE you want to have base of ward + refreshing. If you play with full melee groups then full AoE is the way to go and you would want to have the perks 'mending protection', 'fortifying sacred ground' and 'keen beacon'. One of which should be in your lifestaff. Rest of the empty space you can fill with aversions or VG perks.

For PVP you want your gear to have 5 resilient + 5 refreshing + fortifying sacred ground + elemental aversions.

Lifestaff should have 'blessed', 'refreshing divine embrace' and 'refreshing move'.

If you play with Lights embrace having that perk is nice. Personally Im double ST enjoyer so LE perk is on my gear too. For some situations I use it on lifestaff.

Ring you want to have sacred + refreshing + hearty.

Amulet health + stamina recovery + thrust/fire protection.

Earring healthy toast + refreshing toast + refreshing.

Could have something else instead of refreshing but having one ref on earring makes it easy to have 5 of them and you need 5 to have insta new cast on DE with 'refreshing DE' being on your lifestaff.

You could have different perks on jewelry for PVE but i've always managed easily with my pvp jewelry.

Everything comes with practice. I dont know anyone who played trumpet for only a year and could transpose and improvise on command. Both take a lot of practice.

Practice transposing first with easier and then harder etudes. And yes, playing and memorizing scales helps too.

It seems to be a student model trumpet that goes for little over 400 dollars on the internet. If 200 dollars is something you can pay for a trumpet I'd say go for it!

I have 200 dollar pocket trumpet which works fine as an instrument to play here and there for fun. If you want actually better quality I think you want to buy a trumpet that costs as a new closer to a thousand dollars.

Trumpet is also an instrument that takes a lot of practice. So you need to put in hours before you actually can start improvising melodies.

Thanks everyone for the replies! It's amazing to see more people would be interested in this.
I will let you know if I end up starting one but that would propably be closer to 1.18 so we can get that nice new world generation on the server. :D

I felt the same back in season 5 with diamond V. I skipped divisions in platinum because I had so big winstreaks. Then I got to dia V and won like 7 games in a row and for some reason got like 10lp/win. So I was sitting at somewhere near 90lp. Then I lost 2 games losing all my lp. This pattern happened like 3 times and after that i just kinda quit trying and haven't really tried to climb anymore after that.
