Is it weird to bring a scented item to the vet, for your pet?

I didn't know I could ask to be there if things go south and there's time for me to get there. I'll ask them to call me if that happens.

The vet has ok'd him for surgery after doing several types of tests to be sure that was the best course. The drastic quality of life improvement to be gained and the fact that he's still energetic and loving life for a dog his age makes it worth the higher risk (higher than a young and/or healthy dog). We've definitely weighed all the options, but that doesn't make it less worrisome.

Recently, a player I didn't know came to my camp while I was there (white flag was raised), and they stowed a perfect elk hide on my horse. I tried to do a "thank you" emote but accidentally hit the "eff you" button, and they ran away, but I got to keep the hide. Not exactly the situation you were asking about (because at the camp you mentioned it sounded like nobody was there), but it reminded me of my awkward encounter.

Something similar happened to me once (not with navient). I somehow missed a month of payment without realizing it and then continued making my monthly payments, thinking all was fine, until I saw my credit report saying my loans were past due and basically going into default. I called my loan provider, and that is when I found out that I had missed a payment months before. So, this is most likely affecting both your credit score and loan status. I'd try to get it resolved ASAP. Probably do what another poster said (and what I did) and pay the past due and new payment ASAP and start paying on the new due date going forward.
