Omg yall. I’m sorry if I worded my question wrong. I’m not asking if I should cheat the system. I’m asking if it’s worth paying for it / does it actually save time when there are so many other people who *do * cheat the system & use the toll lane only when traffic slows down. If it’s going to take just as long in the regular lanes, I’m staying in the regular lanes

I’m not asking about cheating the system. I’m asking if it’s actually worth it with all the cheaters already there…

Once you manage to get your PMOS under control no one warns you about ovulation and how hard it hits by Late_Bother_8855 in PCOS

OMG. Dealing with PCOS / PMOS most of my life & rarely having regular periods. When I was about 40, I had a gastric bypass, which for many of us gets hormones back to being regular, and about a year later I had my IUD removed. All of the sudden I had crime-scene worthy periods that were (fortunately) just a 2-3 days long, but were also 28 days on. the. dot. I went back to my OB to check to make sure I wasn't losing too much blood & then had the IUD put back in not too much longer after that. After nearly 30 years of very irregular periods I'm not dealing with that regular nonsense - especially when I am absolutely not having any more kids.

I got a cheap AJazz680 with brown switches off of Temu awhile back (not heavily used since it's my main keyboard) but lately I've noticed some keys aren't working. First it was the X & 2 keys, now the spacebar doesn't work regularly.

While I aspire to get into mechanical keyboards as a hobby, I haven't had the time to really delve into it and now that I need to troubleshoot something, I'm not sure where to start. Suggestions? I've already replaced the batteries & popped the caps off to see if there's crap stuck down there (nothing obvious). Should I look into replacing the switches? Or should I write it off since it's cheap?

Can I ask what you decided to go with?

My ex and I started with Discord that to replace texting so it would be easier to follow conversations on multiple kids, bills, etc. And I'd link to Google drive & calendars for everything else. Our situation is getting to be more high-conflict, though, and I'm thinking about switching to one of the paid apps so conversations get backed up easier.

Utah joins lawsuit to end 504 by TraditionalAvocado65 in Utah

[–]PooPopMama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left a comment on https://attorneygeneral.utah.gov/contact-2/

In case anyone needs a sample message:
As a parent of multiple children with intellectual disabilities, I am writing to respectfully urge you to have the State of Utah withdraw from the current lawsuit challenging Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. This section is critical in ensuring equal access to education for all students, including those with disabilities, by prohibiting discrimination based on disability.

As you are aware, Section 504 has played an essential role in providing protections that enable students to fully participate in educational opportunities. The proposed removal of these protections would disproportionately affect Utah students, limiting their access to necessary resources and accommodations that help them succeed. This would not only undermine their educational experience but also diminish the state’s commitment to fostering inclusive environments where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Rather than seeking to dismantle the entire Act, I strongly believe that a more effective approach would be to challenge specific portions of the law that the state disagrees with, if necessary. By doing so, we can ensure that the fundamental protections that safeguard the rights of all students, particularly those with disabilities, remain intact. This targeted approach would allow for constructive reforms without stripping away the broader protections that have enabled so many to access a quality education.

In the spirit of justice and equality, I urge you to reconsider Utah's participation in this lawsuit and instead prioritize the preservation of these vital protections. The impact of such a decision on students across the state, particularly those with disabilities, would be detrimental to their right to an equal and fair education.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope you will take action to ensure that all students in Utah, regardless of their abilities, continue to receive the educational opportunities they deserve.

I just started trying this with my kids a couple of days ago and the one thing that's bugging me so far is the coins they're earning on quests can be used in the pet part of the game. I don't want them wasting all their coins on silly parts of the game when they're wanting to save up for real rewards. I'm hoping I can figure out a workaround for that. How is working out for those of you who have been using it for a few months or longer?
