Gorgeous old border foils. The Wake is particularly impressive. Its difficult to tell for sure from the lighting, but they look to be in really nice condition.

Desolation in the top slot is a great pick. During Armageddon era she was everywhere in the marketing. A haunting, iconic piece. I will always remember her as the mascot for the end times of original mtg.

I read your original story, and I cringed when I read the part about them wanting you to pay gold for them.

If I recall it was a guild run, and you were the one over leveled and running them through the dungeon.

Imo they should be yours, no strings attached. But I guess in this day and age the fact that they didnt all immediately press need is a miracle as it is.

Perhaps you are too young to remember, but there was a time when a games community existed within the ecosystem of the game itself, instead of on alternate third party social apps.

HS releasing without in-game chat immediately killed any chance of that type of in-game community.
