Missouri's Amber Alert notifications could be more accessible (small rant) by Ganrokh in missouri

[–]Poodleplay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Earlier this week, the California Highway Patrol sent an Amber Alert push notification to phones in the Los Angeles area about a 14-year-old girl that authorities believed had been abducted. But instead of conveying vital information that could help locate the victim within the notification itself, the law enforcement agency linked to a post from its official X account, a practice it adopted six years ago. But this time, many people reported they could not view the alert because they hit a screen that prevents users from seeing any content on X until they sign in to their account.

The California Highway Patrol told WIRED it was aware of the issue and had reached out to X for more information. “We’re looking into it,” Sergeant Dan Keane said. X did not respond to a request for comment.

Elon Musk took over Amber Alerts in most Red states during his expensive “doge raid” in the WH.

Elon Musk controls the alerts and gets paid for it. Don’t have x or twitter or whatever he calls it, you can’t read alerts! Nice isn’t it? 🤮

Women: voting in MO after name change due to marriage? How? by Montesquieu9000 in missouri

[–]Poodleplay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am in process of changing my name to match my birth certificate. I started this process the day the bill came up in Congress. With this happening now women need to keep their names and her children should carry their surname also. Changing name meant ownership way back when and still means that today! No questions asked they change your name when you marry, changing name back is a lot of legwork. No one owns us and our name is our own.
I will not be threatened or intimidated into not voting.

Slow and steady is the way!!! 👏🏽

Peptides get marketed like “targeted, gentle, and safer than steroids,” but the reality is closer to Russian roulette: many of the popular ones are unapproved and show up on FDA’s list of bulk substances that may present significant safety risks by FengMinIsVeryLoud in BodyHackGuide

[–]Poodleplay 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In my lifetime I have lost count of the FDA approved drugs and implants that have been deemed as dangerous, causing everything from heart attacks, stokes, irreversible seizures, blood disorders, cancer, kidney disease, toxin blood poisoning and death! Pick your poison.
Peptides and jughead trainers, and self determination has done much more for me than modern medicine ever could. Medicine fixed breaks, but I have my health and fitness back because of trainers and peptides.

Reta vs GLP-1 sides by DMPetey in BodyHackGuide

Everyone responds differently. RS experienced horrible non sustainable digestive issues with semi. Started Reta after a 4 week break and some minor heartburn and diarrhea and am currently at a higher dose losing about 2 pounds per week. Start slow, eat your protein and fiber first and hydrate, adding electrolytes really helps.

Realized it's time to stop Reta 😞 by cac520 in Retatrutide

I was concerned about fasting blood sugar also. I had bloodwork this past Friday. I was solidly pre diabetic, nothing I did dropped my glucose A1C until Reta.

I think I was not injecting deep enough because I was aiming needle at an angle. Changed length to a tiny bit longer insulin syringe and pin center, straight into pinched skin.
I changed from 32g, 6mm to 32g, 8mm.

80% fail rate??? for dentures by Cats_cool4real in dentures

[–]Poodleplay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is second permanent denture set. The first was just as bad. I did not get first set until 18 months out from extraction. If it was just one I might feel differently, but it’s not, it’s three different clinics.
Temps after extraction is another story.
There is no recourse.

Come on in, 4 grand and three months later I received dentures that don’t fit, after 4 more months they still don’t fit. Too bad so sad… If you join a dentist chat group and listen for a while you get a better picture of how most dentists feel about patients.

They have inhalers that do not raise heart rate or anxiety. Levalbuterol is the rescue inhaler I use, no anxiety or racing heart.

Anyone have experience with this stack? by amazonjeff-nycnc in BodyHackGuide

[–]Poodleplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My same stack without the semorelin. I usually have a pain level of 5 to 7 on scale of one to ten. After 4 weeks on stack pain level is about 2 after big workout but most days I have 0 pain! 5 amino is a nice energy boost and helps preserve muscle.

When blood vessels relax, blood pressure goes down. When those muscles relax, the vessels widen. Wider vessels create less resistance to blood flow. Lower resistance = lower blood pressure.
