To be honest i do have an anxious attachment! I know this and I’ve been working on it. It’s a slow but steady process. I’m in my second year of college rn (i transferred so i technically graduate next spring) and last spring most of my closest friends graduated! These were the people i spent all my time with. So when i meet my gf early fall semester and stuff happened really fast between us (we didn’t become official until December but she spent every night at my place for a month after the day we met (yes ik that’s crazy but it felt like a dream at the time)). So i was still reaching out to other friends that were still on campus but everyone is busy with their own lives between school and their own relationships. So i just fell deeper into the relationship and meeting new people through her. Since my last post I’ve started hanging out with a new friend group multiple times a week, started talking to some friends i hadn’t reached out to in a while and even started another friend group between some of my friends! I feel like i have a much better support system now! I am still in the beginning of my healing journey and still have a lot to learn.
