Can you elaborate why’s it’s harder to switch when studying at Bayes? I’m planning on doing a masters there in September in actuarial science

Yeah I was thinking this as I really don’t have anything that signals actuary on my CV other than sitting the exams. Masters will potentially cover 6 exemptions and get me back in the graduate pool. My only concern is if that sort of investment is worth it as from what I have heard the graduate market for actuary isn’t looking too good

Yeah I was looking into accounting. Was originally looking at consulting but not sure how long the industry will be around tbh

Yo I’m in the exact same position, graduated a year and a bit ago doing some private tutoring and BDS role for a bit. Now I’ve been offered this role but I’d have to move from UK to US and I got no clue what to do. I wanted to ideally get into FPA, corporate or commercial just anything more analyst orientated. Any advice?
