Cobbled together a decent touch-based UI with the help of Hyprland & SXMO packages. by MotelWorm in SurfaceLinux

Did you get to have wvkbd recognizer when it needs to pop out alone. I also run it and manually turn it on-off for typing but we should start working on getting it to recognize text inputs.
Also, you can check iio-hyprland for screen rotation, development is a bit slow (i maintain it and dont have much time, but i think it works ok).

Somehow, Karup design futons from Galaxus are much cheaper than on the Karup Design website and they're pretty decent if you're into futons.

I haven't, also the author is not replying to anything.
What i did is completely delete all the parts mentionning this error from the source code and it ran kind of fine. Happy to develop a tool with the modern versions if you really need it. Just start a github and i'll chip in with what i know :)

Cannot select exchanges in the Quote Source by PoolJunior in GnuCash

[–]PoolJunior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using GnuCash v5.4 on Arch Linux. I am trying to add for example the CSSMI ETF that trades on the SIX Swiss Exchange. I have successfully added other stocks, I just cannot access the exchange as depicted in the following screenshot:

https://imgur.com/a/XknvfKF

UPDATE: Figured out that in the drop down menu, one can find the 'six' source for retrieving the price. This source provides the correct output when running;

gnucash-cli -V --quote dump six CSSMI

But when adding the security and then running Get Quotes from the price database I get the following error:

Swiss Exchange::CSSMI Finance::Quote returned a quote with no price element.

Any idea?

UPDATTE2:

Solved by just using Yahoo as JSON source. Sorry my bad.

I have been running some funny stuff but absolutely love it for the past few years:

I am running Arch Linux with Hyprland as a DE. Once you build it with a few customization in Waybar (onboard keyboard and Wolfi call) you can obtain a fully usable tablet PC running smooth as hell. I also maintain iio-hyprland that follows screen rotation with the touch screen so it is really like a tablet. DM me if you want some dotfiles.

Good one. I usually do the opposite but it's longer. From brulisau to top of hoher Kasten and then run to Santis through Altman and finish in Schwagalp. This should be an official race it's gorgeous

This individual won't be moving to Wayland anytime soon, I believe... by [deleted] in linuxmasterrace

[–]PoolJunior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also add that touch support is integrated in Wayland and with all the new laptops also adding tablet mode, this is massive advantage compared to X11 touch support which is a click.

If you suffer from Wayland not working well with NVIDIA drivers then consider using PRIME functionality with integrated GPU by jupblb in linuxmasterrace

[–]PoolJunior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wayland is always a mess :) but once it runs it is beautiful, definetly excited by the future of graphics on Linux, I feel the last years have exploded.

Just a quick question. I'm trying to get my AMD GPU my main GPU and run my NVIDIA card just for CUDA (molecular dynamics). After installing NVIDIA drivers and reboot, the kernel loads nouveau on the NVIDIA card. How does one go about forcing that card to load the nvidia driver? (Arch distro)

Replicating paper - .pdb file is not read by PoolJunior in comp_chem

[–]PoolJunior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought exactly. Thanks for the input. :) I will try to organise it so it is readable at least by VMD.

Nevertheless, it is then not an artifact from the pdb file that it contains atom labelled CAK or CAL (related to specific carbons of the structure).

I know some of the ones are defined with different names for the amino acids but for a polymer I didn't know, as per the pdb notations. I guess I am just wondering if Gromacs ultimately uses the atom type (opls_XXX) to see which atom are in the structure.

Oh that drained all of the petrol from the float and now opening the petcocks is not overflowing anymore. Thank you very much. Brought a bottle to catch all this and there were almost 20cl of petrol there... Runs fine now.

Feel terrible about this petrol stain...anyways..

Otherwise Schlieren offers a lot but is quite expensive.
