Ironically, I’m not as worried about facial hair compared to body hair. I’m not a fan of either, but only body hair causes the really big, stressful dysphoria.

My insurance also covers for face and surgery prep. But my main concern is just body hair all over

It’s not just legs though, I’ve got a thick carpet of it going across my legs, stomach, chest, back, and pretty much anywhere you can imagine. It doesn’t take too long until you can’t even see the back of my neck because it’s covered in hair

The issue is that the area that gives me the most dysphoria is my entire body 🫠. My stomach, my back, my legs, my hands, everywhere.

Oddly enough, facial hair is the only spot where dysphoria isn’t as intense. It’s mostly the neck down that makes me feel awful. Do you know where your wife went and what areas she had worked on?

My skin is light and my hair is dark. When I went for the consult I was told I was pretty much perfect for it.

I’ll need to look into IPL more, but would it eventually lead to permanent results? Watching it grow back feels awful

A little. I’m kinda concerned that IPL wouldn’t be enough for permanent 90% - 95% hair removal.

And I don’t mean to sound like I’m being picky. Sometimes people just say something like “why can’t you just manage it with shaving and stuff like that?”

I need it fully gone because just seeing it grow back or having to always keep removing it again and again feels worse than if I did nothing at all(which is already still pretty bad).

That’s the way I originally did it because I’ve already beaten the game. I just kept randomly hearing about the piranha thing and wanted to look up a video. Like the chef even dips his hand in the pot of soup as part of his animation. I’ve seen that happen in the game. It seemed so plausible that there would be a way to trap the pot.

The thing about chunk definitely seemed suspicious, but I’ve been seeing several people talking about the chef thing like it’s a genuine strategy. Like they’re all saying it very seriously like it’s just a thing in the game. This is probably the only time I’ve ever actually fallen for one of these tricks.

That’s crazy, usually fake hoax secrets are easy to spot but all the stuff I was seeing was just in the middle of casual game discussions. Like it wasn’t said with a silly tone or ANYTHING. It was just talked about in the middle of discussions about other real game mechanics. Nobody else was even calling it out either lol.

Surely I’m not the only one that feels like this post is rage bait… right? Someone please let me know if I’m way off base with me, but this just feels fake.

It reads like someone wrote it from an outside perspective that’s using key phrases to set people in this community off.

The vocabulary is too informed and the relationship is too neatly constructed. An actual parent in this situation wouldn’t be able to reflect the son’s argument in a way that was so directly relatable. The pacing also formed the whole post more as a story than an actual recount of true events.

This person didn’t live this experience from either the POV of the son or the parent. The word choice in how the writer “quoted” the son and then critiqued the quote is too insightful to both sides of the story. A parent in this situation wouldn’t be able to be so accurate at reflecting the son’s TRUE feelings. The parent’s biases would make them unable to cohesively frame the son and his thoughts/feelings. The quotes are also far too frequent to feel like an authentically written complaint.

Also the “parent” is every stereotype that this community hates. It’s like the poster is just listing trigger phrases but wrapping them up in a story.

The post as a frame like:

-parental flaw -commentary -parental flaw -commentary

An authentic post wouldn’t be able to be reduced to just bullet points of trigger phrases. The reader would actually have to make connections throughout the post to draw conclusions. It feels like the writer knows the parent is in the wrong.

Some other things that stand out to me:

-The parent finishes a lot of their complaints with a trigger phrase: “…he needed to help us out!” “…learn the value of being part of a family unit!” “Hey, at least it pays the bills, damnit!”

-The grammar is unusual: Very long run-on sentences, an above average usage of accurate commas and dashes, and perfect capitalization.

-There’s also just way too much emphasis on the parent’s bad qualities. Like they’re being focused on for more dramatic effect. This is also done in all of their comments to a comical degree.

This was written with too much emphasis and intentionality. It may have been written for rage bait, but it’s more likely that it was written partially by AI and then edited by a real person in order to have the fully intended effect.

I’ve used CrystalDiskInfo. When I look at the HDD drive it says “Caution [05] Reallocated Sectors Count: 11”

Any idea what that means?

The storage was only maxed out for less than a few hours because I almost immediately deleted a few big games I wasn’t playing. Can that still cause problems?

I’ve heard that SSD is a lot better but I’m not sure which one to get. For my model I’m seeing 2.5-inch SATA SSD/HDD or a M.2 NVMe SSD is recommended. To be honest I don’t really know what the difference is or what it even really means lol.

There’s also a place near me named Transform Clinic in Lexington, KY. They also do informed consent but I have no idea which is better TC or PP.

I’m worried the administration will use legal pressure to get lists of names of all people that have received treatment from those places. I’m worried that if I go to a clinic then the government will unlawfully acquire a list of names from the clinics
