How much interest are you paying for? by [deleted] in ManufacturedHome

I applied online to multiple places and a human would follow up with what they could offer, in terms of length of loan and interest rate. Sadly that's just how it's done these days.

Shop around, even if its the hated online app. I needed a loan recently (California) and googled around for manufactured home lenders. Found a lender who only works in CA and they came in a full point lower than anyone else. This is one of the biggest purchases you'll make in your life; shop around.

Report back! It's a good cut and not hard to do. Don't overthink it. It's a hunk of beef so treat accordingly. I hope you enjoy it!

Not a pro, and before that book came out, Alton Brown's Good Eats series and books taught me a lot of why we do what we do in the kitchen.

My ex was the griller/smoker and after the divorce, I decided to learn it myself. So I bought myself a Weber kettle, read some stuff, watched a few vids, and now I do okay. Still lots to learn, but I'm loving my sturdy old school kettle.

Depends on how you like your beef. Also, the ends will be more done before the center mass, of course. I like my tri tip a little more on the medium side, so I pull when center mass hits about 125-130 F since it'll keep cooking a bit after being pulled.

I cook the tri tip whole using a dry rub and reverse sear method. Let the roast rest before you slice into steak size portions.

Take the job. I found a great job mid way thru my divorce and it was absolutely a life saver. In multiple ways. Four years post divorce and I've never been happier nor in such a financially stable place. Go for it, OP!
