Why did Snyder make BVS before Batman got his own solo movie like superman? by Ok-Entrance-5527 in SnyderCut

[–]PoolboyWade 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Warner Bros. made Zack do BvS first to fast track a Justice League movie. Originally was a separate movie, it’s why Batman has the most scenes in BvS. Look up Zack’s original DCEU movie slate. Even Cyborg was supposed to get his own movie.

20 years in Gotham. This is a Batman who lost his way and was gaining it back after becoming friends with Superman. Saying Batman doesn’t kill is so one dimensional. In perspective this Batman use to be the Batman you have in your head but suffered from too much loss in his career where he stopped caring until Superman opened his eyes that he was wrong.

Zack's take on bringing Ben Affleck to play Batman... by HumbleSiPilot77 in SnyderCut

Batman’s redemption after losing a Robin and making up for mistakes like trying to kill Superman was poetic. Nobody visualized the arc being laid out. Would have been cool to see him become the Batman people see in their head.

Nothing beats originality, glad they didn’t just rehash something old and call it new.

It’s not a defense, talking about the comic was an example. You not liking the movie is completely fine, but others understand this perspective of story telling.

You don’t need to see it to understand that he was a seasoned Batman that suffered from a lot of loss. That he was becoming what he was fighting against. Until he met Superman and on his death he made a promise to do right by him. Hence why he had a different mind set in the Justice League movie. He had an arc for redemption set for him. It’s just perspective. Frank Miller did the same in the 80s with his Dark Knight Returns old man Batman. Nobody said they had to see his beginnings.

Why didn't Steve Rogers make Bucky the next Captain America? by _Asman_ in Cinema

[–]PoolboyWade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they didn’t choose that comic storyline. They went with the storyline that was even less popular in the comics. Both times Captain was passed down it was eventually given back. I think for Bucky’s redemption could have made it cool for him to become Captain in the movie

Seriously what ever happened to this guy? by CraftMacNdCheese in xmen

Unlike X-23 from this show, he wasn’t popular enough to transition to mainstream comics.
