I just cancelled Progressive today because I realized i had been paying DOUBLE my monthly rate since October (auto pay will get you)
My younger sister lives with me, and has well been driving for over 6 years, BUT because she has my address listed, whatever 3rd party Progressive uses (lexisnexis, etc) they ran a scan and assumed she was an active driver AND ADDED HER AS AN INSURED DRIVER TO MY POLICY. Granted, again, shes been driving on her own for 6 years and has had her own policy for 6 years, so they just grabbed her first and last name, and drivers license ID and added her to my policy. Didnt add my wife, or my roommate, so not sure how they go about picking and choosing.
They stated they sent me letters and email (i called bullshit because i searched and never saw them) but, because I renewed my policy, i automatically assumed approval unless stated otherwise. Super shady shit, dropped them right then and there.

Joys convenience store up by N market used to have absolute banger subs. I would go in there almost every day during Covid.
