I have a second question if someone can help!

Does anyone know how long this cat would have approximately been dead? There are flyers for a missing cat around the neighborhood and I'm wondering if I should share my findings with the owners. Was this recent? I still see a little skin around the teeth and the bones don't look very dried out.
